The Official Miami Heat VS Boston Celtics 2011 Playoffs Thread!!

If the Heat didn't beat the Celts this year:smh:with 2/5 of their starting five messed up....

The Celts point guard with one arm, their starting center in OKC...or the injured list, the only surprise is Miami didn't blow them out every game.

Guess the Celts were really in their head...which is why they were acting like they had just won the title last night.

I guess for all intents and purposes, they did...

^^^^ This old nigga salty... maybe I need to go in on an audio :hmm:

BB, don't start gettin' all bitchass dude. For real.

First of all, Rondo had more shit wrong with him than the injury he brought upon himself by grabbing Wade's wrist (check the video). Dude had a bad back.

And YOUR GM chose to trade away Perk. And you guys STILL had 3 Centers - Shaq, JO, and Nenad. That's on y'all.

Shit. You hear the Heat talking about Udonis or Mike Miller and his fucked up thumbs. Stop making excuses. A team that has played for 1 season beat a team that has 4 years of collective experience under their belt.

Give them their due.

Exactly, I told ya'll these boston niggas are some sore fuckin losers :lol:

Ok its been one day

You won, let it go now

HNIC should close this thread :hmm:

Man get yo ass out of here :lol:

nigga go somewhere else with that shit
All season if the heat loose theres 6 million threads update every mili-second about it
If Boston won all you'd see is BIG GREEN LETTERS for months
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Heatles > Oldtics

Exactly :lol::lol::lol::lol:

I have said they were the better team...which is why I don't feel the loss.

I merely pointed out how much this meant to the Heat...LBJ down on his knees at the end of the game.I'll bet you he doesn't do that if they win the title.

Did I say something that was not true??

I think you mad, because I ain't:lol:you can get your schadenfreude on elsewhere.

The saltines reeked in your post... you saying because the Celtics were banged up Miami should have blown them out? so your admitting your team is a shit team to get blow out?

Just face it all the wild shit ya'll talking during the season was fools gold and you were the ones that got fooled into thinking Boston was the better team which they clearly aren't just off talent alone. Like I said Doc told ya'll the first time ya'll beat the Heat when Miami start gelling and figure it out they will be a tough team to beat.. He told ya'll that, Doc wasn't bullshitting with his team nor its fans. But you niggas had your heads too far up your asses to see this.

Bastards gave Kobe first team ALL-NBA over Wade.

As good as Kobe is, anyone who watched the games this season know that Wade had a better year then Kobe.

And for those who didnt watch the games, even the stats favor Wade.

WTF?

http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports....ould-be-different-against-the-celtics/related
Back in February over All-Star weekend in Los Angeles, I got the chance to ask LeBron James about the Heat’s struggles with the Celtics. Up until that point, Boston had defeated Miami in all three of the teams’ meetings during the first half of the season, and it appeared as though the Celtics’ style of play, along with the fact that they had been together as a cohesive unit for more than three seasons, would be too much for Miami to overcome in a seven-game series.

Well, as we saw on Wednesday, the playoff series only went five. And LeBron now looks to be prophetic in his answers to my February questions, specifically when talking about how the playoffs would be very different from how things played out against the Celtics during the regular season.

“We’ve struggled, we definitely have,” James said of his team’s first three regular season games against Boston. “But we understand that every game is its own game, and regular season games aren’t playoff games, either. I go back to the year we swept the Spurs in the regular season (in 2007), and they swept us in the Finals. You want to play good in the regular season, (but) I’ve been around this league long enough to understand that the playoffs are totally different.”

When I asked what the Heat needed to fix to get by Boston, LeBron was quick to point out that his team didn’t need any fixing, only improved execution to get past the defending Eastern Conference champs.

“It’s not about fixing anything,” James said. “We have our system in place. It’s about improvement, on every aspect of our game, offensively and defensively. As we continue to improve, as practices and games continue to wear down, as we’re getting into late March and April, we’ll be fine.”

At the time, and given the way the Celtics had played against Miami in those early meetings, this seemed like nothing more than blind faith from James. But as it turned out, he was dead-on with his assessment.

Man I woulda bet everything I have that the Lakers and Celtics would win at least two games combined in the 2nd round. :smh:
