No comment would have a good answer... BUT... Melo spoke from the heart... AND HE TOLD THE TRUTH... :yes:

He spoke like a person who wanted J.Lin as a teammate.

It's easy for you to say no excuses because you hate on the Knicks... and you ignore Melo's words...

I'm still optimistic about this series. 2 games to get 1 but a few things have to happen:

Post feeds have to get sharper and synchronized.
Free throws have to be made. Especially later.
Paul George needs to start hitting.
If not, take it to the rack.
Lance has to exhibit sustained confidence.
Cut down the turnovers. Especially, unforced.
Close out quarters.
Hibbert, stay out of foul trouble.

The loss of personnel was a major blow but if DJ wants to be a starter in the league, he needs to showcase his ability to take care of the ball. And manage a victory. This is the time.

I'm confident the Pacers will get it done. May the best team advance.

I'm confident but the Pacers back court needs to get sharper with post feeds and keeping the paint honest with solid outside shooting.

Should be good. The Knicks have some confidence/ momentum right now. Just have to fight back.
 
Game 5 analysis....Knicks didn't really fix anything defensively but Cope really does space the floor and forces Indy to stay home on the shooters, allowing Melo and JR to run an effective iso...

I still think the Knicks focus should be on forcing Hibbert to cover shooters but if Indy is going to cross match then that's something they can take advantage of, especially with cope. His ability to do more than Novak should keep him on the floor for at least the rest of this series. (Yeah, screw Vegas, I'm calling for a win to force game 7)

Not looking good early but I counted 2 fouls 1 by George and Hill each that they swallowed whistles on. Meanwhile we get called for touch fouls....summer is coming :smh:
 
Here's how to NBA works: the refs are horrid the first half, get "lectured" at halftime, call touch fouls against the team they screwed over the first, then swallow their whistles down the stretch.

Amazing no calls against the Knicks. At least Pablo and Melo have showed up.
