I can't stand the ignorant dumb shit that leads to shootings over social grievances. Its as though the life of black people are in the least of regards in far too many ways throughout the world. Take the violence against black people by latinos in Cali. That shit is fucked up. Theres is no way that shit would being on without nation wide attention daily if it was white Americans getting murdered like that by latinos. Though I must say that for all the time I spent in Toronto, during the 80's I was really surprised to hear of the violence in TO. I was up there in 2003 and 2004 and I was hearing about all types of "gang related" crimes involving bloods and crips. I couldn't fucking believe it. Bloods and Crips in fucking Scarborough of all places. Anyway about 2 years later I see a story here on BGOL about a shooting at Albion Mall off Albion Rd and Kipling, in Etobicoke, at a wake for a young man that was recently murdered. It seems like shit is ridiculous damn near everywhere ignorance and disregard for life (especially of black people) is a problem. So many places throughout the world have so much more rampant with random violence that fewer and fewer places are considered as safe anymore.
Believe it or not we got this same problem in Toronto ... a sista can't even rock a new pair of shoes to the club without getting mud from random men's timberlands trying to run away from the bulletts all over them at the end of the night
