Pretty good episode.

Shockingly I liked Supergirls better.

They should have gone at least two episodes with Barry in the speed force.

Really? Barry is back and he is all nonchalant like nothing happened, and no mention of the repercussion of taking Barry out of the speed force.

I think this will be explained later on down the line... I don’t want them to explain everything in the premiere. I’ll revist this response at the season finale if they never explain that shit.

But for what it was... it was good. I didn’t say great. Supergirls episode was better in my opinion.

I'm mad The Thinker looks more like Metron than who he's supposed to look like

It's just the season premiere. They have a full season to talk about the repercussions. This season is following the Rebirth story hence the weight of the loss of his parents are in the passed. Time to run forward.

The Barry/Iris monologues are getting old! I tune out when it's just them two in a room. Iris bright idea was to get caught? Really? HOW the hell was she able to get that close? What are the police doing? Caitlin is keeping another secret & not telling the team. I sure that will work out well, just like last time.

This is season 4 & expect better from the original team. This show has too many characters & not enough character development to go around. I hope it gets better.

I'm starting to check out of this show...this forced drama with Barry & Iris is getting old

You noticed that too. This is the problem when the show has run out of ideas. Arrow is having the same problem.

Here is the crazy part... Supernatural has been on for 13 years and yet it has found ways to continue to kick ass because it has taken the time to develop the characters. It will throw in a random Villian but then it will have call backs to classic characters. The problem with the DC shows is that they have fallen into a pattern. It insane that so far, Legends and Supergirl are starting out with better seasons

Supernatural stands out because it is the only show on tv that doesn’t have any of that love story bullshit.

Also I’m extremely pissed off that they fucked up Kil%gore ... Kilgore had a bad ass back story. Dude could have been the DC shows version of brainiac.

What's the point of having Wally? He saw that dude was taking over Barry's suit. Why not pick up the tube and stick it in the bad guy of the week?

Cisco could have vibed in, send the bag guy to a jail. The writers really need to step this up.

Agree... it's way to much going on..

but that is easy to fix if you use part of the time to focus on the villains and their back story. Maybe have the villain get away once in awhile. They could spend maybe half the hour establishing who the villain is... Maybe drop in on other villains in barry's world that aren't part of the crime of the week but our part of the world. Use that to create some world building. I've just started Gotham and that is one thing that Gotham seems to be good at.
