The Official CYBERPUNK 2077 Thread(PS/XB/PC)

Played more of the game.

This game is fucking beautiful man. I mean seriously. If you're playing it on a next gen console, you absolutely have to play it again once the next gen update is out. The ray tracing and HDR are very noticeable.

The new patch they released gave me a few extra fps too. Haven't noticed a single bug yet.

Game play wise, there's a lot going on. Sometimes they flash something on the screen when my attention is somewhere else and I'll miss it. It's a minor thing, but it has happened a couple of times to me.

The songs on the radio suck. I get that it would be weird to play songs from the 1980s in the year 2077 but it would have been nice if they gave you the option of playing your own mp3's.

I like it, it's just a shame so many people can't really play it right now.

I increased my fan speeds and that brought my cpu temps down to the 80s which is good enough.

My dude you shouldn't be playing with them fan speeds.

Let that shyt speed up/slow down on its on. If you on PC and using the i9/3080 then think about liquid cooling if you haven't already.

But otherwise I keep hearing that through all the bullshit the game really is nice. I'll be waiting until June when they give it the No Man's Sky treatment

I like my system to be quiet even when gaming so I don't let the fans spin too fast. The real issue is the 3090 dumping massive amounts of heat in the case and that heat is rising into the AIO cooling the CPU. Flipping the fans was a no go since there wasn't enough exhaust for the case (only one fan).

The case is an older one, so airflow isn't as good as it should be. Once I pick up the Lian Li 011 dynamic XL, everything should be good. The CPU's AIO can draw in fresh air from the side, while 3 fans at the top and one at the rear will be exhausting the hot air.

I've done custom watercooling before and it was more trouble than it was worth. Plus, my GPU temps never go above the mid 70s with a custom fan curve, so I only need to knock a few degrees off of the CPU's temps to have everything under 80. I'll also be going from a 280mm to 360mm with Noctua fans.

:guitar01: rare i see a brother that knows his tech talk (not to say we aint out here) good shit though dude I wonder what the requirements will be once they announce VR for it. I really want to experience this game on some next level matrix shit and i know if they do VR correctly this game can go to the next level.

Side note how you feel about mobile desktops? Alienware has the area51 model out thats basically a desktop in pc form. Can upgrade GPU, CPU, RAM, etc.. seems like they're the future and will outperform desktops in the near future.

For VR, it might take until next year since they really need to focus on fixing the game first. The requirements will vary based on the VR headset. A HP reverb g2 can do 4320x2160 (2160x2160 per eye) at 90hz. It'll definitely take another generation or two before GPUs can handle a game like Cyberpunk at those settings.

Looking at Dell's website, it looks like they aren't selling the area 51 line of alienware desktops anymore just the laptops. It looks like Area 51 has been replaced by the Aurora line. However a few issues with the pre-built systems are that they'll probably be louder than a custom system, plus you might have trouble upgrading the GPU due to size restrictions in the case. It'll also be more expensive.

The alienware this guy had was loud and hot.

OriginPC builds gaming PCs as well. Jayztwocents did a video with one playing Cyberpunk at 1440p.

Ah yeah those are the desktops but the new R2 51 laptops just came out last year. I haven't heard too much good news about the R1 but thats because Dell pulled a fast one on consumers by restricting the R1 from upgrade potential to the 3k line of GPU and I think up to the 2070 super.

You right though I'll be waiting some time for VR, and I'm willing to wait.

Intelligence is broken. I thought running around slaying everyone with the mantis blades was fun.

I'm ending 7 guys in like 5 seconds without entering combat mode. I'd kill more but there's never more in a group.

The versatility with this game is insane. Between the cyber attacks & the tranquilizer arm I haven't killed anyone in forever.

Man that mission in the mall!!! :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: What fuckin gun was that muthafucka shootin in the middle of the mall. :eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2:

Dammit man. I've been trying to fuck Judy and Panam but no luck so far. Still have plenty of missions left in the story.

You beat when it had issues? I asked for a refund, now I wish I hadn't cause now I have to re-up though it's half the price
Yeah, I beat it when it first came out. I honestly didn't run into any game breaking bugs, but I'm on PC and I know a lot of console users didn't have the same experience. Only stepped back into it because I get a RTX 4090 (Had a RTX 3070 when I beat it the first ti me around) and just wanted to play on Ultra settings with the Overdrive patch.

You play as Nomad or Street kid?

I just did my second play through. Tried a different ending to Phantom Liberty and completed all police quests. Almost had all the weapons on the wall. Played as a Corpo and Street Kid. Going to play Nomad to see what that's all about.
I wanted to get as much graphics performance as I could so I undervolted my 3060ti. It lowered the temps and gave me a stable framerate with lower energy consumption. Game is smooth and wonderful although in the Phantom Liberty there are still some stutters. I just upgraded to 32GB of ram and that helped with the load times.

Game is incredible. The next version should be insane.
