The Official Cavs vs. Magic thread

I'm convinced coach Brown is an idiot. Why is he doubling Howard in the post and running double teams on the perimeter? Make one person beat you..Howard.. play him 1 on 1 and use your team fouls (bring Smith off the bench). Double teaming in the post and then leaving the Magic open for spot up 3s is a gauranteed way to lose and lose badly.

shit is a wrap

I would love to say that and it's looking that way, but we still have 2 more quarters to hold on to this lead. You best believe Bron gonna come out in the second half and try to take over. I say let him have his 40 points and shut everyone else down.

Best .gif of the ENTIRE playoffs, so far.:yes:
Priceless.

Dwight Howard needs to change his demeanor out there.

Stop smiling, throwing your hands up and attention whoring.

That sends so many wrong messages to various parties involved.

Get tough, get focused and let's wrap this up Big D.

Sports Illustrated did a whole piece on how he just stays smiling no matter what. Personally, I don't care. His play speaks for him, let that nigga cheese as much as he want to. That shit still hurts when he dunks it on ya.

This shit is mad depressing. I grew up in Akron/Cleveland, hell, I even went to St. Vincent High School, where Lebron graduated from. He's done so much for my hometown, I really wanted him to get this. I'm about ready to change the channel.

SI did a piece?

But seriously, he was overdoing it to the level of theatrics in the previous 3 games.

I don't have a problem with him having fun.

But that excessive dramatizing after every foul call was sending the wrong messages to both his team and the refs: grand standing.

His demeanor has changed a lot this game. And I cosign the focus.

If you gonna put 4 guards on the floor, you better RUN THE COURT AGGRESSIVELY. :hmm:
or use the speed to FULL COURT PRESS. :hmm:

The Cavs have NEVER done that...and don't look to start that now...

Gibson will have to step up, because you can say goodbye to Mo Williams in the 2nd half...

That supposed strategy to get Howard in foul trouble didn't work at all. And yet on the other side, Z and Sideshow are not getting those fouls on Howard...How many dunks does he have? 4? Not only that, they made LeBron get a foul near the end of the half... :smh:

And yeah...I don't expect Joe Smith to come in the game

All teams make runs, so you never know what's gonna happen

Cavs:smh::smh:going out like this...

This is horrible. This is the reason I stopped following them a long time ago, they get far and then they choke. Well, it's 2 quarters left. Maybe some miracle can happen. I just want Lebron to make it. He's such a nice young man. I don't usually tell such personal stuff, but yeah, I grew up in Akron, OH, went to St.Vincent Elementary and the high school for the 9th grade. We moved to Cleveland after that, but my heart has always been with Akron.

yall gotta realize that this man is only 23-24 he will get his in due time......

I have to say the Magic look like they can win the whole thing this year!!!

They sure can...they stay with their game plan and they have great pieces around Howard. Turk stepped up in taking over as an alternate PG with Nelson out, and that has been a great asset here in the playoffs.

They've taken advantage of the weaknesses of the Cavs, and they would be able to do the same thing against the Lakers.

But see this is my point.

Any (semi-decent) NBA coach should use EVERY WEAPON at their disposal to WIN... or go home.

It's called 'making adjustments'.

And if the Magic don't expect it...
It just might work.

WE ALL KNOW THIS.

I Totally Agree.
I'll be shocked if Pavlovic or Smith see ANY significant minutes tonight.

At this rate... Brown's coaching (i.e. rotation / substitutions) will be their undoing.

The only thing that can stop the Magic is... themselves.

What I mean is....
I fear their 'hot shooting streak' will cool off ALOT... in the finals.
And they can shoot themselves right out of a few games.

Dwight Howard will manhandle the Lakers entire front court...
But the rest gotta STAY HOT to win it all.
