AMC just released a 3 minute teaser for Better Call Saul season 3.

Might be boring to most but I like long dragged out dialogue if it builds the storyline.

Show creators released the clip Saturday at the TCA winter press tour in Pasadena.

Oh, for die-hard Breaking Bad fans, AMC has confirmed that Gus Fring will return as a character in Better Call Saul season 3!

Add on to the thread as you please famo.

Jessie Pinkman might return

Better Call Saul" season 3 might treat fans to another "Breaking Bad" appearance other than that of Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito), who will play a major role this season.

Aaron Paul has hinted that he might show up in the third season of the spinoff during his appearance at "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." There, he said, "Maybe I already shot it."

He continued to tease it saying, "We just — or they just — wrapped the [latest] season." This had many believing that the beloved Jesse Pinkman could be back earlier than expected and could pop up in "Better Call Saul" season 3.

"Better Call Saul" season 3 premieres Monday, April 10, at 10 p.m. ET on AMC.

Better Call Saul Season 3 Will Be Darker & Closer to Breaking Bad

Breaking Bad is considered by some to be one of the best series to ever air on television. During its five-year run, Bob Odenkirk brought “criminal” lawyer Saul Goodman to life. The character was so popular he eventually got his own series called Better Call Saul, set five years before Walter White built his drug empire.

The spinoff follows Jimmy McGill before beginning a life of crime under the alias Saul Goodman. While the show touches on the seedier aspects of the Albuquerque criminal underworld, it has generally remained a much lighter show than its predecessor up to this point. Headed into season 3, though, it sound as if that is about to change.

In an interview with Variety, Breaking Bad creator and Better Call Saul co-creator Vince Gilligan revealed that the story ahead would become darker and begin to resemble its predecessor. Gilligan said:

“Things get quite a bit darker in season three, more ‘Breaking Bad’-like. We didn’t set out for that to happen, it came to us organically.”

Odenkirk added that this next season would see his character move away from Jimmy and finally introduce himself as Saul Goodman.

“There’s a big movement into the character of Saul Goodman. This is the first time he presents himself as Saul Goodman, which is actually kind of fun. There’s more of an internal movement of this really sweet character, Jimmy McGill, who kind of shuts himself down and does some very callous things that are very Saul Goodman-like. It’s just sad. It made me feel bad.”

Both Walter White and Jimmy McGill are tragic characters and both series track their rise and fall. In the past two seasons of Better Call Saul, Jimmy has done some questionable things but he is no where near as amoral as Saul Goodman was in Breaking Bad. At least, not yet.

The season 3 premiere is just around the corner and will also bring back another Breaking Bad character with Giancarlo Esposito reprising his role as drug kingpin and fried chicken mogul Gus Fring. Unlike the original series, Saul is really taking its time building up its main character, with the past two seasons serving almost as prologue. From the sound of it it seems like the show’s creators have nearly set up all of the pieces that will create the perfect storm which turns Jimmy into Saul. Whether the character drops the McGill name entirely at the end of this season, however, remains to be seen.

Jimmy/Saul is such a corny-ass character though. I only watch this shit for Mike's storyline and I'm waiting for Gus'.

I'm on like season 2 episode 9 and that was the biggest reason I didn't even wanna watch this shit in the first place.... Saul seemed like a corny chacacter to me. How the fuck could he carry his own show? But they fleshed his character out so well... he's like so many people I've known irl... dudes with limitless potential who kept making the wrong choices... who had decent hearts. Odenkirk sold the shit out of it too. I'm embarrassed I waited so long

I still find his character annoying, and the storyline with his brother and his "electro-magnetic allergy" or whatever the fuck it is. But, I guess he's the only character he ties all the more interesting characters together. Mike is still the main reason to watch.

How did you like the scenes with Hector Salamanca and the twins in the 2nd season too? That was good to see as they were so great on Breaking Bad too.

Man.... lemme tell u something, when Hector slid into the diner booth? When them creepy twins stood on the roof... :itsawrap: ... these writers not fucking around

No doubt ... especially when the twins made their appearance. We were laughing and happy as fuck that they were back in the storyline again! That camera angle and viewpoint of them up on that rooftop watching Mike and his grandkid poolside, and Mike's reaction. Completely ominous and sending a message to him.
