Nick Cage's character Cameron Poe in "Con Air" killed his ass in the Cargo Hold of that plane for fucking with his daughter's Teddy Bear.
The movie "Con Air" would have gone just as well WITHOUT the fake "Southern Accent" that Cage tried to use.
Too often Hollywood tries to force Southern Accents/Southern Roots on characters that are supposed to have ties to the Military.
Knew I saw him somewhere, the guy standing next to Tony for most of the show.

The Unit had great ratings when it was on Tuesday's at 9pm AFTER NCIS as a "lead-in" for the show.
Sunday's at 10pm is a show killer because the Sunday CBS NFL Games always run late and the Sunday Night Shows never begin on-time and "Cold Case" is a "Chick-Show" so that makes a bad "lead-in" for a Show like "The Unit"
CBS Fucked them over to make room for a show with a Cracka in the Starring role, "The Mentalist".

All this is true........unfortunately. The Unit is a good show, but this season they killed the brotha to bring this white girl to join the Unit to get ratings with women.

Im not fully for sure on this, but from what I have put together so far it looks like a few of CTU's members may have joined up to form a "blackops" type group(which would explain why Tony is a "badguy")

I was talking with my MOMS about this over Christmas break when I was home and watching the show with her.
Moms was amped that they are "letting the women do more this year".
I was like I understand they are trying to broaden their viewership base... but I be damned if I'm watching a show about Delta Force Special Ops.... and they try to introduce some "Desperate Housewives" type shit.
I mean how feasible is it that in every episode some of the wives are getting involved into some CLOAK AND DAGGER SHIT? I was like call me chauvinist but when I watch the UNIT all I want to see are the Delta Force Soldiers going to to other countries get into tight situations and whip ass...

Finally saw the episodes.... Im digging it so far.
Im not feelin how they are making Tony out to be the middle man in the criminal outfit.
It would be better imho if Tony vs Jack straight up.
We will see how they take this.
