The Official 2026/2027 NBA Season Thread

:roflmao:

@exiledfansonlyplease

1) Do you want to see LeBron with the Warriors?

2) Do you think it would be smart for Steph to take a pay cut like Brunson did?

I understand what he has done for the value of the franchise and that he is actually underpaid. But if he sincerely wants to win another title as he claims he does, he can’t also take up more cap space than any other player in the league.

Team would at least make sell a ton of tickets and jerseys

1. don't care really either way
2. Don't question steph Curry dont ask him to do shit

Don't mention Brunson in the fucking conversation with Steph

Don't say Steph has to do anything like Brunson

He has 4 fucking rings 4.

If you don't have at least 3???? But nowadays can these niggas get 2? Cut it short "if he sincerely" fuck out of here
He has been elite from 31-37 and they did everything in their power to not surround him with talent when they could have easily afforded it
Didn't want to give up picks for og
Didn't want to trade kuminga for siakam
Didn't draft anyone worth a damn with 2 loterry picks... And make no mistake about it, steph hurt ='d LOTTERY with a healthy Draymond and steve kerr at the helm.
Even last year until he got hurt they were tracking toward top 4 finish then he came back and drug those losers into the play in
Like don't ask him to do shit
The loser management riding his coat tails for 90 years need to figure it out

Brunson taking a cut didn't do it

The Knicks willing to give up 5 picks for bridges did it

And this organization refuses to give up useless draft picks for their 1 of 1 all time great player

You’re responding to a bunch of shit that wasn’t said.

I didn’t compare Brunson to Steph as players.

I didn’t “say Steph has to do anything.”

I said if that dude really wants to compete like he claims he does, he can’t take up more cap space than any other player in the league at an age where he isn’t capable of even playing a full season.

Where’s the lie?

2. As good as he’s been for the Thunder during his tenure in OKC, he had fallen out of the *playoff* rotation, and at this phase of the Thunder, that’s really all that matters.

3. Wiggins will be awesome in Atlanta. This is incredible value for them.

@therealjondoe are y’all gonna finally seal the deal on one of these?

The Heat’s track record of pursuing stars:

- Russell Westbrook (2019)
- Chris Paul (2019)
- James Harden (2020)
- Bradley Beal (2021, 2023)
- Giannis (2020, 2023, 2026)
- Damian Lillard (2023)
- Kevin Durant (2022, 2023, 2025)
- Kyrie Irving (2023)
- Jrue Holiday (2023)
- Donovan Mitchell (2023)
- DeMar DeRozan (2024)

Will they finally land their whale?

Goofiest superstar ever.

Shaq is in the discussion but Giannis is a harmless goof whereas Shaq should have been jailed for some of the sick shit he did.

The only ones they REALLY pursued were giannis, kd, dame.
The rest is media speculation

:hmm:

You seem to forget that you are responding to someone who has been reading your “everyone is coming to Miami” posts for several years.

Yes and I'm telling you the ones they really pursued
Foe example
They wouldn't go after Irving because the owner is an Israeli
They did have interest in holiday after the Celtics traded him but Portland was offended because dame said miami so they weren't dealing with miami.
