If she doesn’t work out on the perimeter, I think they’re gonna move her. Cordoza definitely has better moves in the paint so you can win with her.
But to make this duo work, angel will have to be able to play on the wing. I think she has the skills to do it.
He was really selected to help develop Angel Reese. He is known to be one of the best player development coaches in the game.
The problem is that they should’ve never picked up Cordoza and angel at the same time. To me they’re going have to make a decision if nothing changes and that decision is to give the keys to the team to Cordoza and that’s who they should be playing through.
Dude isn't a head coach he should have stuck to just developing players, his coaching of the whole team is bad not just the Angel and Cardoso positions, if the Sky get blown out today the Sky won't be moving Angel they'll be moving on from him and not at the end of the season either
Cardoso is just like Angel, they dominated in college because of size and quickness/athleticism moreso than skill, now that they are in the WNBA more is needed. Cardoso is not an aggressive big, she's used to just being bigger than everybody but not stronger, in the WNBA she isn't able to push post players around to get position and rebounds. In order for her and Angel to be good in the WNBA both gotta do some serious work this off-season
Naw, I think they will move one and that will be Reese. Regardless of whether they change coaches, Reese will be the one that gets moved.
The only reason you move Reese is because of the value she would return. You could get similar production out of Kamila but she def won’t get much in return.
Honestly, I don’t think Reese would mind. At what point is this experiment going to get old to her. They messing with her money because she can easily go back to playing the 5 and getting 15pts and 10 rebounds a game.
Having some shooters would definitely help angel too.
Let her fight down low and pass out to the shooters
Moving Angel won't fix the Skys problems because they'll still be a bad team with a bad coach trying to force a bad offensive scheme to work when he sees it's not working. The whole having Angel as the point forward and running the offense through Cardoso was a waste because you can't tell me that it's looking good during practices, I really think a player like Michaela Oneyenwere or Maddy Westphel could actually play that role but Angel needs to be back under the basket and the Sky need to develop their shooters or find some shooters because Kia "0 for __ in multiple games" Nurse definitely is not a shooter
Been saying both will have to put in the work. Kamilla just big nice girl living out her dream in the U.S. Came here looking for a way to help her fam back in Brazil. We know they don't make much compared to other pro sports. But it prob more than enough to help her folks out back home, along with any other ventures she may have. So I do wonder if she is content or is willing to take it to the next level.
I think Angel has the potential to be in the MVP conversation one day. But she has to develop on the offense. I would also like to see more from her on defense. I do wonder if she will ever be willing to fully commit to taking her game to the next level. She has so many other things pulling in money for her right now. May not be enough of an incentive to really push herself to get better.

I think trading away Plum disruptive the chemistry of Vegas. They haven't been the same this year.
I would think all the social media bashing Angel gets would be all the motivation she needed to take her game to another level but she's young and having fun off the court so we'll see next year if she really worked on her game during the off-season
