The reason The Sky got Tyler Marsh is because he is one of the best player development coaches in the businesses.Can't take you serious because you already proved you don't watch games and just say stuff
You can see his vision with Reese by pulling her out the paint and transforming her into a wing. I mentioned this last season. Reese moves like a guard but dribbles like a toddler. currently Marsh has her playing the Gainnis Role and dribbling down hill attacking the rim.
The problem the sky has is Reese is playing a Wing but can’t score or defend the pick n roll. Pay attention to her on defense when they run to pick and roll, she keeps sagging in the paint, which is giving up the three.
This is the problem with Reece on the wing. She’s not comfortable yet with guarding on the perimeter. She has the athletic ability to slide her feet so it shouldn’t be an issue. Look closely when they run the pick and roll. She was sagging the paint and give up the three easily
It’s just one of those learning curves and growth pains that you’re gonna have to go through until she gets comfortable playing her new position
The Sky turned the ball over 3 straight times to start the game because no guard could break the Suns pressure, they are giving up 3s all around the court because they play bad defense but you only focus on Angel Reese
Yeah, if you pay close attention, Reece is just not comfortable out there yet. Obviously she has the athletic ability to slide her feet, but when you have so many years of defending the paint, it is hard to break that bad habit of thinking you have to protect the rim.
If you watch closely man, they are killing her in the pick n rolls because of that. But I agree with Coach marsh and transitioning her into a downhill female version of Gainnis is probably her best position. She has great passing ability so this should work out for her.

Teams pressure their guards because there is nowhere else to go with the ball. That slows down the game which forces the sky to go into a quick offense, which prevents them from getting the opportunity to dump the ball in the post

i think the giannis version of angel sounds like a trainwreck waiting to happen. giannis got guards and a stretch center in lopez to spread the floor for his drives. and guards who can knock down a shot if needed. get some guards who can break down a defnse and play good defense.....they'll be better.
