The overall play in the WNBA isn't good enough to draw major viewers to just their basketball, the small group of fans that have been watching all these years are the ones that care about the basketball, the majority of the new fans thrive on the online drama of who sells out arenas, who gets the most viewers, who is a victim, who is better than who, etc..

I've been criticizing the 3 point shooting in the NBA every year since the Rockets missed TWENTY SEVEN IN A ROW in 2018 but it's still entertaining and has high quality play, I said the other day if you go back to last year in the WNBA thread during every game where me, you and jondoe were mostly watching there were more jokes about the play than ooohs and ahhs so yeah I like the WNBA but I'm not going to act like it's something it isn't

Let's say that we put this fun betting business or program together for betting on the WNBA. And we needed 2 rebounds from Nalyssa in the second half, "Like I actually did tonight".
She hasn't been in the game in the entire 4th quarter, the team's down by 6 or 7 points so they could use her. She was on the bench at first.
You look at the clock, it's 4 minutes left in the game and you still need 2 rebounds and the game's still close.
You no longer see Nalyssa on the bench, but you gaze up to the top right of the screen and see her RIDING A FUCKING BIKE!
And why the fuck was she riding a bike knowing got damn well that she's not warming up to get in the fucking game?
Every single person that bet is.
And yes, this actually happened. I need 3 more points and 2 rebounds from Nalyssa and she didn't play in the 4th quarter.
And she did ride a stationary bike with 4 minutes left in the game.
