I agree 100%, it's been a great inaugural season!
I've said it here before, I posted about the season before it started but didn't really plan on watching and wasn't excited to see it. Because I thought it was regular 3 on 3 basketball and I wasn't interested.
Until I watched the first game and realized that it was full court. Plus the certain number of points to end the game .
The players and teams made it exciting.
And the Connecticut Sun are named after the casino.
The Mohegan Tribe made history in January 2003 becoming the first Native American tribe to own a professional sports team, known today as the Connecticut Sun.
Ok..had no idea they are own by a Native American tribe. Thats pretty cool.
Also setting the winning score plus 11 based on the leading score in the 3rd. Is a nice touch and keeps it interesting in the 4th qtr.
