{The Official 2021-22 NBA Thread} - Finals: Warriors vs Celtics…{4-2 advantage warriors } Dubs NBA champs, Curry MVP

I agree with SAS. He didn’t speak about a back injury until March. Before that he simply refused to play for the Sixers.

His current back injury has nothing to do with the Sixers situation so he shouldn’t get that money.

There were reports of a back injury before March I believe and he did get an epidural which ain't nothing to fake.

But sadly?

I can't put anything by him at this point.

The article below is from Jan 17th, there’s no mention of a back injury from or about Ben.

He sat out because he wanted to be traded.

76ers' Ben Simmons willing to sit out entire season if not traded by Feb. 10 deadline, per report
Simmons hasn't played in a game for Philadelphia this season

Below is an article from March stating that he received an epidural shot. It also states that he’s been dealing with back issues since February 2020.

His back issues had nothing to do with him sitting out or requ a trade from the Sixers.

Ben Simmons received an epidural shot for a herniated disc in his back, Nets coach Steve Nash confirmed Monday following a report by The Athletic. Simmons, who was acquired by Brooklyn in a trade with Philadelphia on March 10, has dealt with back issues since February 2020 when he missed time due to a nerve impingement.

Lastly, I’m not saying that he doesn’t have a back issue. Now.

What I’m saying is that it’s an excuse Now so that he can get his money back. When there was never a mention of a back issue when he demanded a trade and was sitting out for the Sixers.

It's bullshit because Brown still remains coy on his actual vaccine. We all know the Celtics played avoided Toronto knowing Brown and Hortford wouldn't be able to play in Canada.

The difference is that Brown's state didn't have a policy in place in which he couldn't play and continuously make dumb statements to the media

Now he thinks he's Kyrie Kaepernick and making some sort of stand.

He deserved it
He probably did.. but Kerr is a bitch and a hypocrite for crying long enough to get it. Calling it a dirty play. calling it dirty implies intent. Brooks clearly was frustrated about missing three shots in a row and tried to hard to make a play.. but he wasn't trying to hurt GP. Now what Draymond did was dirty.. pulled Clark down by his jersey on purpose.. where was that same energy then.

I ain't even mad he got suspended because he was about to shoot us out of that game. But Kerr is a whole bitch.

:hmm:

so running behind someone and clothes lining them wasn't dirty

Larry Bird's baack was way more fucked up and he played. I'm not fallin for the bullshit and neither should anyone else. The nigga conspired with Rich Paul to get his money. Arbitraror gon tell him to kick fuckin rocks.

Yo if Ben gets most or all of his money?

Rich Paul the real MVP

Cuzzo?

This soap opera is completely unpredictable

I will never underestimate the power of the beige.
We will never see this level of faggetry in the history of professional sports again bruh. :smh: If he jumps off a bridge or walks out into rush hour traffic slowly I won't even put the PS5 controller down to offer my condolences.

Do NOT be so sure

I asked this last night

With the new CBA in the NBA

Will the antics if Harden Kyrie and Ben be addressed?

DOES A PIG LOVE SLOP? YOU THINK THIS BULLSHIT WON'T BE ADDRESSED? I'M THINKING OWNERS ARE WILLING TO LOSE MONEY SHORT TERM TO ADDRESS THIS.

I don't know cuzzo

With all this legalized betting?

Stuff like this and the flagrant fouls are going to be highly scrutinized

Cause ALL those actions greatly effected game play outcomes and playoff seedings

Just saying.

Right. Just always remember in the history of sports when there's money issues the players always cave in 1st. Been that way since forever and it will continue here

It won't happen. Even with the back injury
I don't think the league front office and owners will let that happen. It would set a dangerous precedent and they're already at a breaking point with Ben specifically and player empowerment in general.

I think the results of all these cases

Ben, Harden, kyrie and the flagrant fouls are going to change the league as we know it going forward

Only thing dumb was the mandate itself. Irving wasn't the only one opposed and questioning it
