{The Official 2021-22 NBA Thread} - Finals: Warriors vs Celtics…{4-2 advantage warriors } Dubs NBA champs, Curry MVP

I was In a discussion with my barber about this, The Nets are now overloaded at the center position. I say keep L.A. and Drummond and get rid of the rest. You can win now with them . There old but let them work until the wheels fall off. L.A. is a midrange machine. You can get some decent pieces for Clayton and Sharpe.

Good thing you aren't a GM

Fuck defense

the lost art of the midrange jumper

Blame these executives that only value layups and the three-point shot but want say the midrange is a bad shot. These executives will get rid of a player,if he make midrange shots but have a shitty three-point percentage. They seem to forget that basketball has three levels of scoring.... :smh:

Lmaooooo @ Morris 3 point buzzer beater

Who missed the defensive assignment for a wide open three

disgusting

@Mask please change this thread

ask are the bulls going the win the eastern conference gauntlet or something

Damn I didn't notice their slide.

That's why I call bullshit when these executives say 33% from three is the same as scoring 50% in the paint. That shit makes no sense at all.

What's funny,I understand the idea of the "stretch big" but most of these bigs shouldn't even be near the three-point line because most of them can't shoot.

Right. It doesn't make any fuckin sense at alll. The same way these young crakkka coaches go for it on 4th and 1 and be in the fuckin shot gun instead of taking the fuckin 3 points or at best lining up behind center. Shit makes no sense whatsoever. :smh:

The issue with both are they will get killed in the p&r. Claxton gives us flexibility in switching along with Simmons. I think we got enough offense to allow our bigs just to focus in on the boards and playing defense.
Claxton Is good defensively on the perimeter, so, so in the paint. None of the big men the Nets have can stop Gianniis, Embiid, Ayton, AD..etc...and out of all the Nets bigs LMA has the best field goal percentage and point average...but I guess I'll see once everyone gets on the court.

Nets have been lackluster defensively anyway.

Analytics is killing sports...imo

I ain't gonna blame the math

Cause a lot of it is actually helpful and can be a teaching tool and genuine analysis of a game with a whole lot going on.

But really?

It's nerds who never played playing math club to feel important

Who only understand "numbers" and using those numbers to keep black folk out of control positions

Because its the only way they can get in and justify their undeserved positions

These same people think black bodies are just assets.

That to me is the issue.

And also those so called fans never actually watch GAMES

just twitter clips look at ridiculous statistics

that they make up now every year

That even so called experts covering the sport don't really understand

Listen to them struggle to even tell the audience what the acronyms stand off let alone how they got their numbers on the first place and how they apply to actual game play.

Again I ain't gonna blame the math.

But I don't need a calculator to tell me Jokic is good.

Hornets got robbed. Lowry's foot was clearly on the line.

Trust me they didn't get robbed
The officiating was trash
Butler got fouled at the end of regulation and didn't get the call.
Lowry was forced out in OT and didn't get the call.
Lowry took a clear charge in the 2nd ot, they reviewed it and still got the call wrong and called foul.
It was bad

Ayton's not that good and AD can't stay healthy but the other two nobody in the league can stop.

We really have a weirdly balanced team considering we only have two guys on the entire roster between 6'5-6'8 playing (Harris out). Seven guys over 6'10 and the rest under 6'4.

So defensively we're either two small or too slow. Nash is prioritizing playing the small guys because of the offensive versatility but we're getting killed in the paint on the defensive end. Clax atleast gives us a big who can cover perimeter guys. We could legitimately play him next to Aldridge until Simmons/Durant comes back.

Ultimately I believe his closeness to Harden is why he's not playing right now. He even posted this last night after his third dnp in a row.

If we weren't going to play our most versatile big we should have traded that man
