Celtics Offered Jaylen Brown, Derrick White First Round Pick for Kevin Durant
JUL 25, 2022 8:19 AM
The Boston Celtics just made the NBA Finals, but they seem motivated to make it back and finish the job this time. That has Boston entering the fray for Kevin Durant.
The Celtics reportedly offered the Brooklyn Nets a package of Jaylen Brown, Derrick White and a future first-round pick for Durant. Brooklyn reportedly countered with asking for Marcus Smart, additional draft picks and maybe one more rotation player for Durant.
Durant asked for a trade from the Nets shortly before free agency opened on June 30. Boston has made roster upgrades by trading for Malcolm Brogdon and signing Danilo Gallinari. The Celtics didn't give up any rotation players in acquiring Brogdon and Gallinari.
Jaylen Brown should want out of Boston now since he know they offered him in a deal to try to get Durant.

My issue with the Cavs they want to use injuries not to give Sexton his money yet they gave Garland, who has a very long history of being injuries the supermax. You can't use injuries as an excuse when you gave Garland the supermax.

This is Collin's first major injury yet this organization want to use it as an excuse. Collin could have came back two months before the season ended but he was advised to let the injury heal a little more.

We are going to see how good Garland really is since teams will have time to prep for him.

It's obviously a lie and they think he doesn't fit with Garland (reason for them trading for LeVert).

I think even drafting Garland a year after Sexton was the writing on the wall. I believe they view him as a scorer off the bench (i.e Jordan Clarkson) but he obviously doesn't view himself that way.

And as a Cavs fan don't you want Garland to excel?

I have no issue with Garland but you don't give an injured prone player that only had one good season the supermax. That makes no sense. This organization have gone out of their way to shit on Collin by not defending him when those anonymous reports came out but they came out to defend Karen Love when she was throwing temper tantrums on the court.

And,how can anyone say Collin and Darius don't fit when the roster was filled with a bunch of players who were G-Leaguers and couldn't shoot the ball. Those two were the only ones carrying the team fir two years because the roster was so shitty. On top of having four coaches in six years since Lebron left. The current coach doesn't cares about the offense at all;he expect the team to win ball games with defense alone and you can't do that against teams like Milwaukee,Golden State and etc..

Lastly, the reason why the Cavs traded for LeVert was because Garland was the only ball handler that could score after Rubio and Collin were out for the season. Despite, trading for LeVert the offense still looked like shit because the coach doesn't care about that side of the ball.

Pelicans did it with Zion..

Regarding everything else Colin should just take the QO, ball out and get the fuck out of Cleveland

aren't these the Grant Hill/Stackhouse years?

I never liked them :dunno:

and I don't understand the good ol days, when we weren't winning. I mean they were decent during the Grant Hill years.

Maybe they are just hoping to be decent.
