{The Official 2021-22 NBA Thread} - Finals: Warriors vs Celtics…{4-2 advantage warriors } Dubs NBA champs, Curry MVP

I don't think we need a star. In fact, we not getting a star. Truth be told if we can flip him for some picks with a team that has a lot like the Thunder I'd rarher do that. We'd have to eat a lot of his money but I'm cool with that. He just gotta fuckin go. It's not that he's not a good player......he just is not a smart one. Makes things too difficult for no reason with his shots. :smh:

I dig

There was a twitter discussion where people was saying that Kyrie was the most underrated player in the league.

Kyrie is the Kanye of the NBA. Ain’t nothing about him underrated. He just a head case.

The man supports his community, doesn't get in trouble, his teammates current and former for the most part enjoyed playing with him and he don't fuck with nobody

What makes him a headcase?

I wouldn't mind Jerami Grant from the Pistons and a pick. Something like that will work and he runs the floor a bit better than Tobias. Cuts to the basket better. That's what you need with Harden. Not Harris shooting fade away jumpshots with his back to the basket. Dude bricks all them shits and keeps taking them. Stupid ass. :smh:

Shit, y'all may need to give Detroit a pick to take on Harris contract

Both of those things can exist at the same time.

Kyrie is a disruption on any teams he’s played for in the NBA. He can do all those things you mentioned and be problematic to his basketball team at the same time.

Got damn Bron took 26 shots, had a triple double and they LOST. That team is fucking garbage.

Rockets did everything in their power to lose this game in regulation but said fuck it they might as well beat these niggas in overtime

This Lakers roster is terrible. I tried to tell niggas years ago that Melo is a statue on defense, we already know how bad Westbrook is. The only player worth bringing back with Lebron next season is Malik Monk. They need to get rid of everybody else including Davis.

He won a chip in Cleveland and went to three straight finals

Boston was a push with the injury but a lot of their problems was how the roster was constructed..

And we got further with him in Brooklyn playoff wise more than we've been since 2011.

What problems did you see?

He brings distractions with him wherever he goes. It doesn’t have to be specific things. Doesn’t have to be anything in particular nor does it have to do anything with his success.

Me comparing him to Kanye is about as close as I can get on what I mean.

It ain’t even a diss.

Man you played ball. Unless you're in that locker room, how is any outsider gonna tell your what's going on with your team.

Has their been teammates from every franchise that he has played for has to come out and said Kyrie has been a distraction?

I see where you are coming from.

Fact, I don't know the man personally, so I am judging him with limited perception.

Instead of "head case", I could have said, he's "different" and it would have come off less judgmental.

But I definitely judged him without knowing him or what other people think about him. And I will likely continue to do so along with a lot of other people in the world. Lol.

I see different for sure. I'm just saying we've seen real headcases in sports and I don't see Irving in that light

I just turned on the Utah/Portland game and my God. 63 points with 6 minutes left in the 4th .... :scared:
Just trade Dame and start the rebuild already!

Gotta package him with Thybulle to get anything worth while
Fuck dat he stays then. All Thybulle needs to do is consistently hit those outside corner 3's and he's special. That's about all he needs to work on. He's getting better though and you can tell since coming out of Washington he's worked on his shot alot. I say Tobias takes 3 stupid ass come on bruh da fuck is you doin shots in the Nets game. Watch. :smh: I don't like hate the nigga, but he's on the spectrum. You know how I get.:angry::angry:

Yeah when he said that in the post game interview with that skinny white girl I just shook my head

Green played good came up big in crunch time. Rockets have a good young core. We pick up that Banquero kid (or whatever his name is) outta Duke, trade Wood for a few draft picks and the future will definitely look promising

IMO, The problem with Kyrie, Is at times he doesn't have that "I'm all In for the team attitude" You have a job and there's a goal at the end of said job. At times he's just not dependable. He's can ball his ass off, but he's one of those cats that does what he wants despite the fact that It may fuck up everyone else. Not even talking about not getting vaccinated, he went awol to party and a bunch of other dumb shit. As a employer you have to weigh If It's worth It. Stephen A Is right I wouldn't pay him a long term contract. I'd pay him yearly.

You think he went AWOL or was Steve Nash lying like he seems to always do?

And his employer seems enamored with him case in point

AD leaving Nola, Kawhi with the Spurs, Harden with the Rockets and BK, and now Simmons .... the next CBA negotiations are going to be a bloodbath. The owners are going cause hell.

There'll probably be a long ass lockout.

You can add Kyrie's part time status fuckery to that list of grievances that the owners are gonna be using as ammo to screw the players during the next CBA contract. I just hope the lockout isn't as long as the 99' or 11' lockouts.

I like him as a player, hopefully It all works out In his favor. This is his second season as a Net and he hasn't played a full season yet. It makes It hard to gauge how good the Nets can be.

Third season brother. Three seasons in and we still don't know how good he could be with this team due to a litmus of shit. I just hope we ball out tonight
