What is the single most important characteristic that you look for in a significant other?

What makes them "a keeper" in your opinion?

For me it's sense of humor. We can work on everything else, but I gotta be able to laugh with you. . .

Hmmmm since I am entering in the world of "singledom" again very soon...This is something that I have to think about. I will be back to post on this after work.
 
Personality is number 1. Without a nice personality looks mean nothing. So for me it's personality then looks.

There's probably nothing worse than a good looking mate that you can't stand because they're difficult to deal with.

in the 5th year to the 9th year all those shit mention above is not that important. When the breakup comes you here we just weren't compatible. Or he was lacking something but it's not any of the things mentioned above.

Again personality! (I don't believe you can seperate traits.) Everything starts from there from the morning breakfast to bedroom. But if I had to select just one I could not live without it would be her intellect.

Perhaps its all of these Chi...
Some become blinded by the "fantasy" that is in their minds and see only what they choose to see. Then when reality bites they forget that no one is perfect. Without the blinders on its a whole other world yes.

I cant single out any trait.

People are "packages".

All people have their positives as well as their negatives.

It's an individual's decision to take the good with the bad and vice versa.

But....everyone has a finite tolerance level.
