I am sorry but this type of wedding is for those who do not know any better. Y'all can call it black love... being resourceful or whatever you want... they literally don't know any better... and that is sad to me. There are so many ways to get married and not have to spend a lot of money but have it still be somewhat classy and memorable. How you get married (whether with over the top spending or extremely cheap) can say a lot about the parties involved both good and bad.
To each his own, but I doubt any of us on here would get married this way or even would have attended had we been invited to come.

When I got married in church it was free, now you have to pay a fee to use the church and the pastor fee for a wedding
The problem is pastors, like you see there, are greedy as Republicans. They make EVERYONE pay. Nothing is free.

Shhiiitt ain’t nobody catering that. That reception is sponsored aunts, grandmothers, and play cousins. Bet there was fried chicken, greens, some yams, cakes, maybe somebodies uncle grilled... probably had the sweetest sweet tea. That’s my type of reception.

Aint no church wedding free nigga. They collecting on that too. Matter of fact, one of my friends had me in their wedding few years back. When we were rehearsing at the church they attend, fucked my head up when he told me what the pastor told his wife. Said they had been monitoring their tides and they were coming up short lately. He charged them an extra few hundred.
