I like we get a bit more of what Isaac was about. Even better that Jeffrey Wright is playing him. The torture scene shows how far he’s fallen from his original M.O.
Ellie slamming the tank lid was a way to confirm that the area was clear.
The “Take On Me” scene is important. May not seem like it now but it is critical.
The TV station scene was cool. Shows that they are not efficient killers like Joel is.
The train station scene was intense.
The reveal that Ellie is immune to Dina was actually better. Since the spores in the air are not a thing.
This was a good episode.

in an interview the show makers said they wanted the combat to seem realistic with Ellie because we all knoe in the game she turned into a damn beast.

One complaint i have, is while i think Bella is doing well with her acting, she doesn’t portray rage to me.
The Nora scene, she didn’t seem angry enough to me. Like she should be overcome with grief and rage.
But since she’s just fallen in love, she seems happy.

The stalker scene was just as tense as the game even though things were switched, the same when ellie came across the scars in the forest.
The small glimpse of Ground Zero was fucked up like the game. I'm sure next season there will be more scenes at the Ground Zero basement.

everything was pretty much on point in this episode. Especially when she chased that bitch to the basement.
That’s what I had mentioned about season one. It felt rushed to have only that few episodes for a complete game. To me, it was nonsensical. The first game alone could have easily gone three seasons. I would have loved to have seen more of the zombies in season one and also more background information about the main characters.
That porch scene was at the very end of the game. Surprised they put it here.
