What's funny is that their idea of a productive move is trying to antagonize the opposing (but still very large) party contingent that sided with Gaetz, but not to simply address the issue of Gaetz (and the handful of others on their own side that backed him). Handling the internal issues would seem like the easier fix, if one were trying to actually fix things.
