I worked from home Wednesday and today. I watched everything on Fox News to see how they were spinning it. On Wednesday, Fox had commercial breaks several times when Schiff was talking and at other times during the hearing. No other network had that shit. :smh: Today, every other network had special coverage in addition to live hearing coverage but Fox had normal shows after the hearing. At one point during Neil Cavuto's show, they said the impeachment wasn't compelling tv and started talking about Taylor Swift. :smh:

Trump’s Doral resort was a last-minute addition in search for G-7 site, newly released email shows

Secret Service agents had identified four U.S. sites as finalists for next year’s Group of Seven summit — but then they were told to add a new finalist: President Trump’s Doral resort, according to an internal Secret Service email released late Friday.
“Our original itinerary included Hawaii, Utah, California and North Carolina,” a Secret Service official wrote, describing a trip that a team of Secret Service personnel took in July to examine the finalists. “By departure, they had already cut two (California and North Carolina) and added Miami on the back end.”
“Miami” meant President Trump’s resort near the Miami airport, which hadn’t been among the original 10 sites that the Secret Service team had vetted. Although vetting of possible sites had begun in late May, the official wrote on July 12 that “yesterday was the first time we put eyes on this [Doral] property.”

The official’s email was released to the watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, which made a public-records request and then sued when government agencies did not comply.
It sheds light on the process that led to Trump’s short-lived decision last month to award the Group of Seven summit — a gathering of top world leaders — to his own business.
The official was identified in the email as serving in the dignitary protective division, but the official’s name was redacted.

The House Intelligence Committee on Saturday released the transcripts of the closed-door testimony of Tim Morrison, the former National Security Council's Russia and Europe director, and Jennifer Williams, an aide to Vice President Mike Pence.

Why it matters: Both witnesses provided the House Committees with first-hand accounts after personally listening to the July 25 phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, per a statement from House chairs.
What they're saying:
  • Morrison said he suggested to NSC lawyers “we restrict access to the package,” in his sworn deposition to House investigators, according to the transcript of his Oct. 31 testimony.
  • Williams, a longtime State Department employee with expertise in Europe and Russia, said it seemed, "unusual and inappropriate" after listening to the Trump-Zelensky call, and it "shed some light on possible other motivations behind a security assistance hold."
“The testimony released today shows that President Trump’s July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Zelensky immediately set off alarm bells throughout the White House ... following the September 1 meeting between President Zelensky and Vice President Pence, Mr. Morrison confirmed that Ambassador Sondland informed one of President Zelensky’s top aides that American military aid was conditioned on the investigations. Mr. Morrison informed John Bolton of the meeting and was told by Mr. Bolton to go see the lawyers, which he did.

You need to look at being able to add room, an external hard drive …. that was my main worry in the early days of DVR …. space was limited to like 40 gigs and I didn't want to have to delete shit or be pressed to watch it to make space …. I got TiVo and found out that I could add an external hard drive to it … added a 2TB Western Digital … no more problems …. last summer I upgraded from a 4 tuner box to a 6 tuner box with so many things on at the same time … the HD recordings eat up space too and I watch a lot of shit
