Well he’s made tons of money during his run.. never heard any of his shows pretty much after he no longer was on the e channel
Thats the issue. They wanna stay doing the traditional thing instead of going with the times. Most of these radio people that still have a career are on YouTube etc.
He had a damn good run. Time to chill and do some fishing.

I enjoyed his radio show during the 80's and 90's. Was kinda sad they took it off the air. Didn't follow him after that. He can go on Youtube or do a Podcast out of his home and still make some money but not the millions he was getting. He and his wife should ride out into the sunset! He was set for life years ago.

When it hit television it should of been over for Howard but he's one jew that raped the system and he'll gladly go away and he'll set up some subscription based show on the internet cause I can't lie he has some loyal fans that'll pay to listen to his none talented ass.

I stopped listening 10 years ago; that show stopped being good after Artie left...
The only reason he's still on the air is because he took a paycut, the $500 million/year is just propaganda to make Howard look more imporant that he actually is, right now he has about 125,000 daily listeners, Sirius is deep in debt so they have to let him go and spend the money on people who actually move the needle like Alex Cooper.

That bootlickin', buck broken b-tch helped make it "acceptable" for ALL of Stern's racism & bigotry against Black and Brown people to be considered "comedy". And she's done that bullshit with a smile on her face and an annoying chuckle for decades...

I really thought Glenn Beck was it. The man had the lunatics on lock. When you see clowns like Smirconish, just look at their timeslot and realize there are professionals that out there getting it.
I believe in E's True Hollywood Stories they did a reinactment of her appearance on the show. She said she was clean and agreed to give them some hair to test, when the show ended, she said she changed her mind and wanted her hair back, Baba Booey didn't want to but Stern told him to give it back to her.
Long overdue. He's not worth what they initially were paying him. He's off the shock jock shit so it pretty boring from what I understand. Sirius/XM is has been slowing dying as well so they can't justified a $100million contract for one guy who has already brought in his audience who slowly going away. I don't know a single person with with satellite radio sub.
I know what you mean. I didn't listen to the entirety of either of their shows. Albeit I heard more than enough to realize it was lowbrow entertainment. Most suited for the greater mass of people reveling in double digit IQ's and Arrested Development.
I used to be a HUGE Stern Show fan from 2006 to about 2012. When they got rid of Howard TV and stopped bringing Sal and Richard into the studio a lot. Plus, Artie was gone. I just lost interest like a lot of people.
The show changed as Howard got older. He wanted a more sophisticated show with less Wack Packers and shenanigans from the staff.

When posters on this forum bash elected officials, I always tell them to blame the constituents that voted them into office. It was instilled into me as a child, “if you see an ass, you’re supposed to ride it.” Rush had a contract for $400 million after Howard’s XM contract. Ride these asses.
I listen to his show regularly and he hates Podcasts.
Howard paid his dues starting his radio career in the 1970s making minimum wage at shitty radio stations.
He hates seeing mofos start a Podcast and making big money instantly. He went on a long rant when Hawk Tuah girl got a podcast with a nice contract.
