Cause it got quiet as a muthafukka around here

Let me console you Hornets "fans":

Chris Paul will definitely be on a championship squad one day. Hornets or otherwise. WIth some players you just know. But it's got more to do with brains than talent.

That doesn't tell me anything. I still don't know whether they won or lost.

and the only thing I hate is the NBA playoffs. And phony "fans" who jump on a bandwagon when things are going good, but ain't no where to be found if "their team" doesn't win.

And if you knew anything about the sports board, you'd know I was predicting the Hornets would be a top NBA team at least 2 seasons ago when they signed Scott as a coach.

But I still don't know who won the series

The Hornets Must've Lost

Yep. Great finish too.

Hornets down 15 to start the qt and Jannero Pargo catches fire to score 16 to bring them within 3. Misses a wide open 3 with a minute left that would've tied.

The Hornets are the better team, imo but in a single game elimination like that, it doesn't matter. They played tight all game, and simply didn't have the poise that the Spurs had.

I predicted a New Orleans - Detroit Finals and now that that is out of whack, I'm just looking forward to seeing good basketball the rest of the way.

Celtics up 1-0 and now the Western Conference Finals start tonight.

Just now heard on the radio that the LA/San Antonio series starts tonight. So that means that the Spurs did win.
Since I don't fuck with mainstream media, I had no way of knowing the outcome

Doesn't matter, I ain't (can't) watching the next round anyway.

Thanks for the breakdown. Shame that it took a JANNERO PARGO to shoot them back into the game, when they're paying PEJA all that money to do it. Dude needs to buy an indignant New Orleans family a house or something, because he has NOT earned that huge salary the past two years

Not interested in the Celts at all. ALthough I am looking forward to the phony "fans" comimg out the woodwork once they dispatch of the Flop, I mean, Flip Saunders led Pistons

Funny how it comes down to Phil vs Pop yet again
