I thought this thread was about balance of payments, trade deficits, and currency transfers.

It would be interesting to learn how they came up with the name Foreign Exchange (FOREX).

Congrats.

Connected is actually their first album.
they recorded that album without ever even meeting each other face-to-face,
hence the name Foreign Exchange

the new album is called Leave It All Behind.

They should be nominated and WIN! They're shit is tight. Nothing but good ass music that you can vibe to at anytime.

This album (Leave it all behind) stays in constant rotation in my car. I REALLY hope they win because it will be for REAL HIP HOP and not some bullshit. NC REPRESENT:dance:

I'd watch the Grammy's just to see them win

Both Foreign Exchange albums, the Zo and Tigallo joint and the new Zo album will be in heavy rotation tonight

Im so happy for them!!!!!!!!! The Foreign Exchange is one of the best acts out right now. I bump both albums constantly and Nicolay's Shibuya Sounds album is the truth too!

* Notice the overwhelmingly positive feedback in this thread. That right there tells you something ... GOOD HIPHOP/GROWN PERSON MUSIC STILL LIVES.

Congrats to The Foreign Exchange. It is good to see that the Grammy people got something right. I can't wait to see them win and hopefully this leads to more people being exposed to their music. Now I'm hoping for a Grammy performance.

Hell yea! Congrats to those dudes man. Glad to see that real hip hop is still relevant to the masses. I hope they win and this becomes a springboard for the JL

Lol, someone took macroeconomics. The Foreign Exchange consists of Tigger, North Carolina rapper from Little Brother, and Nicolay, producer from the Netherlands. I know with the first album they made, Tig was in the states and Nicolay was in the Netherlands for the whole making of the project. They just traded verses and beats with each other via the internet and created the entire album that way. Hence, "The Foreign Exchange". Peace.
