Damn.

how can a car be completely destroyed like that, from hitting a pole?

I'm not on some conspiracy shit, but how fast are u going to have an 1 car accident scene like this? I guess, it's metal/plastic and that shit cannot withstand what I think it can.

Wow.
:smh:

As one poster pointed its a very dangerous car.

Porsche CGT crash last year LAWSUIT SAYS CGT TOO FAST!!!!!!!

CLAIMS ABOUT THE CAR

The claims about the Carrera GT itself are likely of most interest to us. Whether there was a mechanical issue with this particular car, or whether the Carrera GT design is inherently unstable, are matters that are best left to the engineers to debate.

But the claim that the Carrera GT is too hot to handle is something that all of us can think about. And this isn't just Porsche's problem. Clearly, the same claims can be made against other supercars, such as the Ford GT, the Enzo, and a host of others. A quick Internet search will locate sites whose function is to display photos of wrecked supercars, typified by www.wreckedexotics.com. (http://www.wreckedexotics.com.) It isn't hard to conclude that many of these cars are sold to owners who have far more cash than driving skill. And it's probably realistic to assume that these owners are not going to recognize their limitations and will succumb to the desire to drive these cars "the way they were meant to be driven," sometimes with disastrous consequences for themselves and others.

Should the manufacturers be required to qualify owners before selling these cars to them? How are they supposed to determine qualifications? And should they automatically be held liable when they sell supercars to owners who can't handle them?

McClellan says, "No, Porsche should only be liable because this car was defective." But then he adds, "It is defective, however, if the risks of its design outweigh the benefits. If its power and handling characteristics make it too dangerous for the average driver without training or instruction, then it is defective. Porsche should be liable because it sold a defective vehicle to Ben Keaton

end quote

This could change the way Manufactures make cars and sell them. If they win this lawsuit against Porsche saying the cars too fast or too hot to handle expect manufactures to put more technology like non-defeatable TC in cars, madatory driving school before cars can be sold, and maybe even less powerful cars.

im watching the F&F marathon now...I'm off of here. Catch you guys later :smh:

Its crazy how life makes an mockery of us sometimes... han died in a fiery car crash in tokyo drift and in fast 7 they hold a funeral for him. Now in real life they'll hold a funeral for paul who died in a fiery car crash.

Those cars are built like nothing to keep weight down.. you hit a tree with any kind of significant speed, the tree will win every single time

this may be the case, but I just hope the driver was being responsible, and didn't take a dumb risk. that maybe this was just some bizarre convergence of various factors that caused the accident.

I hope...

I feel you ,but risk or not the outcome is the same :(

the Porsche Carrera GT is built on a carbon fiber structure that depends on the actually visible car body for support. Its essentially as structurally sound as a ping pong ball.

It was designed to do just that, when a car disintegrates on a crash all the kinetic energy is dispersed by the car tearing apart instead of being absorbed by your body. What probably killed them was the fire. :(

while it was the pole that could have definitely killed him, the fire would have easily finished the job. Just yesterday I was talking to a tow truck driver (l.a. coincidentally). He was told me all kinds of stories of responding on the scene of car accidents. One story stood out. He said the driver and passenger were burned so badly that their stomach was opened after they were pulled from a car fire. Steam came out his stomach like "a baked potato". Another dude legs were burnt so bad that they stuck to the carpet. 10 gallons or so gas plus all the oil in the plastic of these cars....makes your 4th of july bbq seem like a flicker.
RIP

SAD RIP to him and peace to his family whom I am sure did not expect such
a tragedy during the holidays or anytime for that matter.:smh:

please no...all he has to do is tweet to kill these bullshit rumors. Dude is too cool. Not believing this right now
Did you know him?
they need to get on with that bullshit.......got my daughter over here cryin and shit....
Fam, you need to really sit your daughter down and talk to her. She shouldnt be crying over no Cac dying just because he was a celebrity. I like the Fast and furious movies but I do not know this dude and he could have been a racist.

So, all that bread to own a car like that and sounds like it doesn't protect you any better than my piece of shit Chevy.

Shit still doesn't make sense.

Why couldn't it have been Justin Beiber instead? :smh:

Trust me you don't want that.

That little bastard dies right now at the height of his career they'll turn him into that James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Jimmy Hendrix, Kurt Cobain type of Icon:smh:

Naw brother let that little shit's career slowly keep declining and let his career die instead of him. Its much better to have Justin Beiber as a has been as opposed to and icon.
