The NCAA/colleges were implicated in a murder scheme related to intellectual property theft (Jeffrey Epstein). To not fit the profile of a deranged murderous entity, they engineered this PR stunt with NCAA athletes to not fit this image. The State of California, Governor Newsom, and Lebron James participated in this farce.

I have to give credit to the NBA they seen what was happening and a step right up to the plate with the G league the NCAA shot their selves in the foot a long time ago and now it’s coming back and biting them in the ass. For example, When I leave high school as a player I am a grown ass man in some cases I might be taking care of a small family so I need money.
The basic premise of getting a full ride to college for playing a sport is great. Yet when coaches, and businesses started profiting in the millions and billions things need to change. That just don't sit right with me or anyone with common sense.
This. They buy homes for the president and head coach. They build multi million dollar facilities and when I played you couldn't have a job or except gifts even though I did. They even had the audacity to strip negroes of trophies and accolades. That system is fucked up and unsustainable in today's climate
I didn't know that those D1 schools were not allowing all the career ending injured players to finish their free education that so many alumni like to espouse that theu are getting for free. You mean to tell me you get hurt and out of football and the Scholarship is retracted ? and they just give it to the players we know about but the vast majority of college athletes are out of sports and out of luck ?
An oldhead once told me, there is no such thing as free. Anything that's free, will end up costing more in the long run. That message makes so much sense as I get older.

They fucked ole boy. Scholarships have to be earned every year too. You might start off on full but if you underperform or they recruited someone younger in your position they can cut your scholarship to partial.
Now at Southern University, they at least paid my remaining tuition after I got cut from the league with 2 more years left to graduate and I ate free because the cafeteria women loved me. My cousin, a freshman starter on their 92 championship team at Alabama got kicked to the curb 1 semester shy of graduating after his eligibility was up. That shit led to a long list of bullshit decisions that landed his ass in Fed in Oklahoma.

Everyone is making money except the people that are putting their bodies and life on the line in some cases. If I would have gotten caught taking money, a suit, rims, a car, dinner, or anything I would have lost everything.

yep your scholarship is year to year. get recruiting over your ass is out. You can make the fucking deans list every semester but if you don't perform on the field you got to fucking go. Its a sham what they do to players.
