The enormous (1/4 of football field long) Russian Su34 fighterjet killing ISIS

"Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar!". I guess if you do not
say "Allahu Akbar" while firing AA from the back of
a Toyota truck, the Hisbah will come to you and say
"Brother, why are you not saying Allahu Akbar.. Don't
you know that you have to continuously demonstate
that you are a believer in this religion?"

Hours after the crash, a branch of the Islamic State operating in the Sinai Peninsula issued a claim of responsibility. There has been a violent insurgency for several years against the Egyptian government in Sinai, but there has been no indication that the terrorist organization there possesses the weapons needed to bring down a plane from a high altitude

In the claim of responsibility, which the SITE Intelligence Group said was issued by the Sinai Province of the Islamic State, the terrorist indicated that the plane was shot down in retaliation for Russia’s military actions in Syria.

“Soldiers of the Caliphate were able to down a Russian airplane over Sinai province,” the statement said. “It was carrying on board more than 220 Russian crusaders. “O Russians and whoever is allied with you, know that you neither have safety in the lands of Muslims nor in the air, and that killing dozens everyday” in Syria “by the bombardment of your aircraft will bring calamity on you.”

It is unclear what weapon systems the Sinai branch of Islamic States possesses. French officials and weapons manuals recovered in Mali confirmed in 2013 that Al Qaeda’s branch in North Africa possessed the SA-7a and SA-7b surface-to-air missile, which is capable of shooting down a commercial plane during takeoff and landing, but it does not have the range to hit an aircraft at high altitude.

Members of Al Qaeda’s branch in Africa have defected to the Islamic State, but it is unclear if they brought with them coveted weapons, which Al Qaeda is believed to have bought from the stockpiles left behind in Libya after the fall of Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi.

From the ground... how would they know the plane was Russian?

could be true,or could be U.S media propaganda. Anything to make Russia look bad and demonize it!

Bomb may have downed Russian jet, US, UK officials say
http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2015/11/04/world/europe/ap-egypt-russian-plane-crash.html?_r=0

Evidence indicates a bomb brought down Russia's Metrojet Flight 9268 over the Sinai Peninsula last weekend, U.S. official told NBC News on Wednesday, and officials said U.S. investigators are focusing on ISIS operatives or sympathizers as the likely bombers.

Questions have swirled over whether foul play or terrorism may have downed the Metrojet-operated Airbus A321 since it crashed in Egypt on Saturday, killing all 224 people aboard. ISIS's media office in Sinai released an audio message Wednesday reiterating its claim of responsibility. Neither Wednesday's claim nor an earlier one immediately after the crash said how ISIS is supposed to have brought down the plane.

some country w/o an air force will get both planes cheap :lol:

No never! The F22 costs more than $400 mil- each, and that is
one of the main reasons why the plane was cancelled. The F-35
just has too many problems, AND is very expensive

some of the sheiks in Dubai could buy them and have their own little private air force then :lol:

And the US will never sell them shit! Too much classified
technology even in a stripped down one to sell to an unfriendly;

And after each flight, you need between 18 and 50 hours of
maintenance to fix the stealth shield again. The service
ratio of the 187 F22s the US built is resultantly a woeful
49%..Service ratio is the amount of time the planes can
actually fly, compared to the time you actually want them
to fly.

But the entire concept is new, if the design really does
have stealth, the US would be advised to continue the design
cycle. As I have said before, engineering is not an exact
science. This good idea will need to be developed further
to improve the defective aspects...

Shit they were causing pilots to black out during flight, no one wants those shits.

Russian pilots have been known to go into flight without
pressurerised suits in an apparent display of machismo;
it is foolish, if you ask me.
