people keep saying give Obama time , he's only been in office for so many a days ...but its obvious to me that he has no problem just giving away the money to AIG and the rest as long as they have there hands open becuase apparently they're too big to fail....

until about 2-3 million people show up in DC and protest the shit thats going on, nothing is gonna change. when the first bailout bill paulson and bush pushed through was being debated, the call for congress were 300-1 against and the District of Criminals didn't care. they only understand one thing.

The problem here is that AMERICANS ARE SOFT PUSSY ASSES! Do You see how those blokes in Britain are protesting the banks, wall st and capitalism all together. They are tearing the streets up over there and aren't afraid to get gully with it to let the powers that be know enough is enough. Americans are too comfortable with thier ipods and starbucks coffee to fight for anything worthwhile.
The U.S. Gov't knows that all they have to do is raise taxes raise, raise subway & bus fares, add new tolls and the American public won't do shit about it. In the Movie SICKO, a french person stated that in France the Gov't is afraid of the wrath of the general public. In the US we have forgotten that the gov't works for us. Bu we have let the flipt be srcipt and it is we that work for the gov't. Well Alex Jones would say something nonsensical like destroy all the banks and go back to living like in the stone age to keep the illuminati out of power.
Taibbi by contrast is in favor of sane things like more regulation and transparency in the financial sector, which would demonstrably have prevented this Housing and Banking crisis from happening in the first place.
That's not the point I'm making. The point I'm making is that THERE WAS A CONSPIRACY and everybody, now has to admit this. If Matt Taibbi written this 10 years ago, he would've been considered Alex Jones.
