This is a good show, bro.I tried watching it with my wife
Shit all over the place imo
That weird ass looking producer boy ruining things
This has the feel of a we are woman we can make it story

If Aaron McGruder decides to make a live-action Boondocks he'd be ideal for Huey

It looks like a female cosplaying as a manAsante Blackk is a rather awkward-looking individual, and I'm not sure how I feel about his casting.
The hair and chin strap beard look rather anachronistic for 1991
ATL isn't enoughI’m gone say this, it’s time for a South show, done right
The way they over glorify other regions And shit on the South, we need one that does us justice

That bs family business show was terrible and EVERYBODY accent was wrongFor that to get done, you have to have somebody from the South with the vision and commitment to accuracy, realism, and storytelling that John Singleton had for Los Angeles.
Too many times, the South gets somebody who just picks the South as a setting but doesn't study it and use it to it's advantage. This is why you'll end up with shows set in Houston and Atlanta, two cities with populations over 5 million but they are shown looking like sleepy railroad towns, or New Orleans will have the accents totally wrong, or the characters speaking with a French accent or a fluency of French that is 150 years out of date.
These southern locations basically need a "John Singleton".
Sad part is Tyler Perry from New Orleans, he just don’t claim it. Same with Dj Khalid, Ellen is from MetairieFor that to get done, you have to have somebody from the South with the vision and commitment to accuracy, realism, and storytelling that John Singleton had for Los Angeles.
