In summary: The narrator is saying that grave robbers mutilated the mummies of pharaohs , after taking them out of their sarcophagus , and neatly layed them in a row for the narrator to find.

Re: The Documentary that Got an Egyptologist Banned from Egypt...showing Black Egypti

Seems they just can't handle the truth. I'm always amazed at how the Egyptians leaders were all supposed to be white.

Re: The Documentary that Got an Egyptologist Banned from Egypt...showing Black Egypti

How do you explain the fact that in general dna studies find the gene frequencies of the modern North African populations are largely representative of the ancient population, coupled with the fact that blacks are predominantly of West African stock?

Please direct me to this "fact":rolleyes::rolleyes:

And when you say "black" what do you mean?

How people look? :confused::confused::confused:

What context do you use "black" in?

Genetics? :smh::smh::smh:

Man, stop your bullshit.

I don't know how this got past BGOL.

It's a question, if you don't know the answer move on an leave it for someone else.

Blacks as in the descendants of the transatlantic slave trade..

So what you trying to say?

Africans brought to the New World are not related to Africans in Egypt?

Come out and say your shit instead of hiding

:smh::smh::smh:

If you could answer my original question it would put me straight one way or another.
I'm saying what I said.
The inference being that if you can't answer my question then obviously there would be doubt as to how descendants of the transatlantic slave trade could be related to the Ancient Egyptians.
If your theory is robust I'm sure it can withstand a little prodding.

Re: The Documentary that Got an Egyptologist Banned from Egypt...showing Black Egypti

Thanks for posting this OP. My personal theory is the Egyptians looked like a cross between Nubians, Sudanese and Ethiopians.

We need to remember that the history of BLACK Khemet spanned thousands of years. By the time of the New Kingdom, egypt had been invaded so many times the blood was very mixed. Always remember there was a time when whites weren't even allowed on the continent. Once they were, they wasted no time in mixing the blood creating a new "race" and division. Soon after in came their muscle: the arabs. Black Afrikans even to this day are being pushed south (Chad, Egypt, The Sudan). And this chick is not the only one to be banned. Cheikh Anta Diop was not only prevented from access to mummies, he was publicly repudiated by the gov. and so-called scholars in egypt. Because he wanted to compare DNA. History people. We'd better learn our true history.

I'd happily answer this question if it was posed in a manner I could understand. Your syntax is abominable.

I appologise.

Essentially what I'm saying is that, gene studies appear to suggest that modern Egyptians are descendants of ancient Egyptians.
Further more as the descendants of the transatlantic slave trade are predominantly from West Africa, why the claim to descend from Ancient Egyptians?

I hope that's clearer..

Re: The Documentary that Got an Egyptologist Banned from Egypt...showing Black Egypti

Apparently, she was wrong. The mummy she thinks is Nefertiti is actually King Tut's biological mother, whose name is not known. This was proven by DNA testing in 2010.

She is correct, however, about the identity of the other female mummy. It is Queen Tiye.

This is horse shit. When was this DNA study actually done and by who???You do know that several West and central African tribes migrated from Khemet at tha time it fell???
Even Zulu legend has them being from there and they are all tha way in Southern Africa.

Operative word was 'predominantly'
What tribes were these that traveled from Khemet?
Legend doesn't constitute fact.

Legend:
a. An unverified story handed down from earlier times, especially one popularly believed to be historical.
b. A body or collection of such stories.
c. A romanticized or popularized myth of modern times.

Furthermore if you were to do a study I'm sure you'll find that your African traces would take you to West Africa and not East Africa and almost certainly not Egypt.

And the thing about grave robbers trashing a tomb and then neatly lining 3 mummies in a row for the narrator to film :smh:

This is inaccurate. They are not. The lighter skin "Arab looking" population you see inhabiting Egypt now didn't arrive to the 5th century. Please spare us with your white supremacist ideology. Africans from from many different parts of Africa were taken during the slave trade.

There may well have been invaders into the area of Egypt but the genetic trail of the Ancients will still remain in the population. It's unlikely they would have obliterated it completely.

Do one of those dna test on yourself and if you're black, I'm sure you'll find that your African heritage came from West Africa, as will most descendants of the transatlantic slave trade.
I've not heard of one person doing that test coming back with results saying that they are from Egypt.

It's a very romantic notion to think that you are a descendant of the great Pharaohs of Egypt, but alas there doesn't appear to be a lot of evidence to support your claim.
If your looking for a kingdom to attach yourself to ,those of Ghana, Songay and Mali are more likely.

Re: The Documentary that Got an Egyptologist Banned from Egypt...showing Black Egypti

So you want to keep pushing more of your eurocentric bs on this board ?

Herodotus, the “father of History,” had already noted that the “Egyptians had dark skin.” These features, which come within the province of physical anthropology, provide arguments for the view that Nubians and Pharaonic Egyptians were Black Africans like all other Black Africans of the continent: Sara Galla, Bantu,
Yoruba, Mossi, Dogon,Wolof, Fulani, Malinke, Songhai and so on.

A DNA test would indicate Africa and you can't attempt to divide up Africa to best suit your eurocentric/white ideology. Africa is a diverse place that was filled with many types of black African people that have various facial features and skin tones.

It's a very romantic notion to think that you are a descendant of the great Pharaohs of Egypt, but alas there doesn't appear to be a lot of evidence to support your claim.
Why don't you post your evidence that is against my "claim"?

If your looking for a kingdom to attach yourself to ,those of Ghana, Songay and Mali are more likely.

Never said I was. You assumed this.

I'm not pushing any 'eurocentric' anything, whatever that means!!!

I don't recall saying ancient Egytians weren't black. I said the descendants of the transatlantic slave trade were not ancient Egyptians as there is no verifiable evidence to support this claim.

A DNA test would indicate Africa and you can't attempt to divide up Africa to best suit your eurocentric/white ideology. Africa is a diverse place that was filled with many types of black African people that have various facial features and skin tones.

You contradict yourself there my friend, if Africa is so diverse the differentiations are apparent surely?
It's precisely the fact that Africa constitutes such a diverse peoples that it is possible to identify the particular ethic groups that you may hail from.

Why don't you post your evidence that is against my "claim"?

Is that the way it works now?
You make a claim and I'm supposed to prove you wrong?
Surely you should substantiate your claim with supporting evidence?
If I told you I could fly would it be for you to prove I couldn't or me to prove I could?

Never said I was. You assumed this.
You specifically may not be but most of those that do pander that theory appear to be.
I apologise if I lumped you incorrectly in that group.
