Man, gahhhhhh'lee.

Just came from seeing it and I enjoyed it it scared me pretty good it was creepy as hell I'm putting this one as no2 on my horror list. I told my daughter to not watch this movie she has a habit of watching movies on her labtop that's still in theaters. I caught her ass watching let me explain today I didn't tell her anything but I strongly advised her to stay away from this one she's just 11 she shouldn't see stuff like that yet.

I was pissed cause some asshole brought his two young kids to see this movie. The theatre was so packed the seating was limited so him and his son sat in front of us and his daughter sat next to me she has to be no more than 10 or 11 same age as mine and this little girl was shaking by then end of the movie I felt bad for her she's gonna have nightmares for a few weeks.

^so no one's theater had any audience participation during the "handclap" scene? A few ppl in my theater did it before she lit the match, then half the audience clapped along with the hands when they actually appeared :roflmao2:

watch vhs 2.

that shit is LIGHT YEARS better than the 1st one.
that shit was insane. the scene at the cult school :(:(:smh::confused::eek:
Might check it out now. Saw the first one from Redbox, and I did not like it. The premise was interesting and could have had a lot more potential, but the final execution fell way short to me.

I am the type that gives sequels a chance to redeem themselves. Unfortunately I keep doing this for the Resident Evil movie series thinking that the latest can't be worse than the previous one, and get proved wrong everytime.

But I'll check out VHS 2:yes:

Whoa Tazirai, really?! "Mama" was ok, but it had a few good moments, but "Insidious" and "Sinister" were very good to me!

I guess for me, it worked. I'm the type of cat who can psyche himself up for scary movies. In essence trick my brain to be scared, then after the "scares" are done, turn it off.
I dug Sinister though, Bagul is my dude. I like that mess with your head horror. It's why im a huge fan of Mario Bava movies. Less gore, more Psyche.

Check out Kill baby Kill, and Black Sunday.

Took the wife out to see it last night and for the first 40 minutes I was mad as hell cause the shit was boring to me but it picked up pretty nicely after that! Check it out.

My son is 12. He wanted to see this shit after we saw more previews during World War Z. Swore up and down he ain't scared of shit. I looked over at him when the shit started picking up and he was like

I don't even like ghost/demon movies, but in my opinion, this movie is worth seeing in the theater.

Saw it last night. Shit was pretty damned good. Wish da lil' motor mouthed, teen fucks behind me would've kept their fuckin' mouths shut. Googled a few things earlier that said that they embellished on some things for Hollywood's sake but claimed that a lot of it was true (including da Annabelle doll at da beginning). There's a couple that lives at da house today. Some look at da Warrens as frauds behind that Amityville Horror shit tho'. They're talkin' about already having plans for a sequel. How, I don't know.

Im always comparing horror movies to the excorsit, this doesn't come close, i it had a few of them loud music make u jump bangs but that's it. they needed to show more scary faces and shit. the eyes of that old chick was creepy. And it didn't leave the theater with you. it is worth seeing in the theater but still not that scary to a grown up...

I don't even find The Exorcist to be that scary. :dunno:

very good movie.....went to see it last night. its like a mix between Insidious and The Possession.
i seen quite a few people jump out their skin while watching it. scared the hell out the kids when we got home.
just when they were bedding down,....i was hiding in the darkness and clapped twice.
:lol::lol:

just got home from seeing this. One of the best horror films of at least the last decade

suprised at the R rating...thought it was PG13. James Wan be doin his THING! cant wait for Insidious Chapter 2!

$102,359,490 to date.

read it took $7,000,000 to make.

good, getting back to minimalistic genuinely scary movies as opposed to cgi fest vast production pieces.

I don't know how but, I read somewhere that there's a sequel in da works. Although, I don't understand why it had a R rating. I can't wait to see Insidious: Chapter 2 tho'.
