Powers & History:
Franklin essentially makes what he wants of reality. He's almost like the Phoenix in that respect, and he's still a child. He will be the most powerful being on the planet when he grows up. During his time with Power Pack, mental blocks were in place, so the only power he manifested was a "dream-self," and astral form that came out when he was asleep and could travel around independently. Later Franklin was aged to a teenager, and led Fantastic Force as Psi-Lord. He was returned to his true age by his and Rachel Summers' future son Hyperstorm, and due to the lack of mental blocks, was at full power. Franklin was captured by Onslaught, who used the boy's power to warp reality, creating a citadel in Central Park, and a second sun in the sky. After Onslaught was defeated, Nathaniel Richards placed Franklin in the care of Sean Cassidy and Generation X. Franklin, along with his friends Artie and Leech, then joined the Man-Thing and Howard the Duck on a quest for the Nexus of All Realities. Afterwards, Franklin was confronted by Ashema the Celestial, who revealed the truth about the fate of the heroes: in a last, desperate attempt to reach his parents, Franklin created an entire pocket dimension, where the heroes were "reborn," and "rediscovered" their powers. Ashema told Franklin that he must choose a world to destroy, since both could not exist at the same time any longer. She essentially said that Franklin had the power of a Celestial himself. Franklin warned the heroes to abandon their new world, which manifested itself in our reality as his blue ball, but then refused to let it be destroyed. Ashema then connected with Franklin's humanity, and sacrificed her mind to keep his pocket dimension alive inside of her, allowing the Celestials to get a first-hand look at how humanity works. Since the return of the heroes, Franklin has returned to living with his family.
