Why is this old ass man still the one doing a show that is supposed to play new rap music? This is the exact reason radio is dead. People wanna hear a more fresh perspective on things
Yeah I'm not sure what their AM ranking is anymore, but the rotating hosts experiment is not working. And if Envy gets anytime in jail......

While many believed comedian Jess Hilarious would soon be joining The Breakfast Club as a permanent co-host following Angela Yee’s departure, the Baltimore native’s most recent statements may tell a different story.
Weeks after announcing she’d soon join the team, Hilarious took to Instagram to call DJ Envy and Charlamagne The God “trash” for comparing SZA to Mary J. Blige.
“These Ni**as trash,” she began. “Envy shut up! I know artists be pissed when old heads do this bc now everybody negative comparing SZA to MJB and it ain’t even her fault! She has her own identity.”
Due to the relationship developed amongst the triad over months of Jess co-hosting the show, some believe the harsh words could’ve been sarcasm. Others believe it’s a sign that her time on the show has come to its conclusion.
“So she spoke too soon and they pulled that offer. Now she mad as hell,” surmised one social media commenter, with another adding, “This is why I don’t tell people things until it actually happens.”
“Don’t burn bridges young Queen smh. Dang I wish we handled situations better and more professionally,” offered another observer.
In addition to Jess Hilarious, other guest co-hosts have included Remy Ma, Loren LaRosa, Justina Valentine, Chico Bean, Kym Whitley and several others. Hilarious has yet to directly address her status with Power 105 and iHeart.

This is a non-story/ click bait. Jess is way too smart /savvy to damage her working relationship with CTG. This is sarcasm at worst.
I don't get it either if she was serious. I thought Jess had a pod on the Black Effect which I thought was technically still iHeart.
The other thing is I assumed Charlemagne had more pull at iHeart. So either he's fallen out of favor, never had true power or they ( Envy/Charlemagne) didn't really want her. Personally, I assumed Charlemagne wanted Jess to do what he can't or rather won't do anymore. Charlemagne seems to want to be more than an entertainer and attempts to act accordingly. However, he's smart enough to know the Breakfast Club is the source of his power for the moment.jess attitude would help to keep the Breakfast Club relevant in terms of mess. Especially since Envy had to fall back due to his legal issues.
Not to bring Joe Budden into this, but im surprised he isn't throwing this in Charlemagne face. A big part of Joe's argument has been having control over the JBP. While I agree with Charlemagne thought of you have to do more than build yourself, Joe would have the ability to put on anyone he wants without approval and in this instance Charlemagne couldn't put Jess in position.
I think Joe's guess on the situation is probably closer to reality.
I'm paraphrasing with a lil sauce added, but basically Iheart probably made an offer, she then made those comments "off the record" at a party.
The story runs that she made "the announcement,"....both sides said nothing because the paperwork wasn't signed.
She then has her people look over the paperwork and there's language included that she doesn't like, (ie... IHEART gets a % of outside ventures, salary dependant on this, prior approval needed for that.....etc)
Whatever was in that fine print.......brake screech
And negotiations broke down, so...... "It's a no for me dawg,"

I don’t think this is a rumor I think this is for real. Because of DJ Envy situation they should have gave her a generous offer. And I see why Angela yee took off running out the door
