The Bevel Trimmer promises a sharper, cleaner haircut for people of color

Was hoping this was small enough to shave with but blade looks too big

Ok when does this shit come out. Hope it ain't another scam like that lightfreq shit dude ahead a Kickstarter for and raised $350,000 for and bailed with the money

the barber makes the clippers the clippers don't make the barber. if your barber ain't shit the best clippers in the world are not going to give you a better cut
That's true but that adjustable feature is something any barber can use. Ain't nothin worse than having to adjust your clippers, freaking unscrewing and screwing that thing to get it just right is a pain in the ass

love the idea, but his consumer is the dude who already is saving money by not going to the barber 2-4 times a month. I have had the same clippers and trimmer since 05-06. Just change the blades. I think I paid 140 for both back then. Inflation is a motherfucker. But 180.00 just for trimmers ain't happening.

Just noticed the bevel website. That shave kit is 19.95 per month. For just the creams and shit.

I am all for supporting this brother, but I'll be damned if I pay an exorbitant premium to do so. I shave my face once a week, that kit would last me a damn year. The "Art Of Shaving" unscented line is 60 but I get to buy it when I feel like... Every 8 months.

The bevel shaving products are selling in Target starting in February so you can pick it up when need be just like any other grooming product. BTW, you get a product like this that basically has no current competition into a Target or Walmart and you're basically printing money.

I like the trimmer, alot. It took every gripe barbers have and fixed it. Plus the design is fire on some futuristic apple + tesla shit. Only thing I don't like is the price. Is there a large enough market (outside of young black barbers) that will pay $180 for a trimmer? I'm almost positive it'll perform better than the $50 andis but is it $130 better? Time will tell. Can't bring myself to pre order though. Waiting for some trusted reviews.

If it's durable it is. I paid 120$ for my oster rotary clipper and that shit lasted 25yrs, my other joints maybe 5 yrs max

what do you mean it has no competition? there are plenty of other hair clipper/trimmers on the market.

it's good that the products will soon be available on the mass market hopefully that will bring the prices down a bit.

I wasn't talking about the Trimmers. The shaving stuff for men w/ coarse hair (most black men) is one of the only product lines you're gonna find in the Target/ Walmart health and beauty aisle focused on black men outside of this:

Willing to give the brother's product a shot if it can give me a dry shave as good, or better than my M3's.

They actually make a thing that gives you the perfect adjustment. Cost like 10 bucks.

peace

Well you just saved me 150 bucks. Bou to cop this shit. I'll wait till that bevel gets a discount on Amazon or somethings
Just a few back, copped an AndisT-liner2 (plus guards) after roasting my 10+yr for leaving it on for too long.
Along with that CoolCarePlus 5n1 {coolant, disinfectant, lubricant, cleaner & rust preventative} spray for the blade which I literaly use every time I cut it off, have never had a closer, cleaner shave.

Bought it today. But the shit is tooooo sharp.

A sharp blade takes some getting used to. Relax your hand(no homo) and let the machine do the work. Kinda glide it over your skin.
I'm good on the beard trim with it, bit the hairline area its too sharp, but one thing I haven't tried is to use the adjustment inside the body of the clippers to dull it a lil

Do you wash your hair and let it dry??? I notice on clean, dry hair, you just have to gently tap it, the hair should just fall away.

I'll wait a few months... if the reviews are top notch, then I will cop a set
