This movie is going to suck just like all the other comic movies

Wait for the dark knight rises

Nolan is the only one I trust

:hmm:

here we go....

no matter what somebody finds a way to throw batman in marvel conversation...:smh::lol:

I don't know who's in marvel or what

I just know all those spiderman, iron man ,xmen movies sucked
I thought Nolan's batman movies were too long and boring, the dark knight was like watching 3 movies in one

I probably make time to go see it during the week, when there is less people, I love a afternoon work week movie. I have a feeling the first weekend is gonna attract the loud kids screaming in excitement in the theater, I'll go during the week while they are in school.

Loki's army is basically the skrulls they just had to change the name and look because fox has the rights to the skrulls.

Why does Fox have the skrull rights? I can see the Hero, but the villains? Who owns Thanos, Dormamu, The Leader, Anihilus, The Magus, Graviton etc?

they had them since they were originally going to put them in those wack fantastic four films..i assume they still are when they reboot that series

What the HELL kinda alien was that?
I thought I had posted this info before. The army is The Skrulls, BUT since for some reason Sony owns the rights to that name Marvel had to rename/revamp them for this Avengers film. The Skrulls in this film are now known as The Redacted.

Major THANOS Spoiler Info Below!!! (Stay the fuck out of the white text)
Thanos is in the movie. There were rumors some months ago that Loki would do business with Thanos and they’re true. Thanos is tricked by Loki in the movie. Basically, Loki has been collecting Infinity Gems and the Infinity Gauntlet, but tricks Thanos in to thinking that the Infinity Gauntlet is the most powerful. In return, Thanos gives him The Redacted.

Dude, you're always saying some crazy shit without even knowing anything. I like the Batman films too, but you're on some serious fanboy bullshit now. Every comic film CAN'T be like Batman. For the main reason that he doesn't have any powers so Nolan can seat the film in with more realism than say an Avengers or X-Men movie. Does that make it better? No. Just a different style of film. The Dark Knight was barely what most people would call a superhero film. Shit was a crime drama that just happened to have a costumed hero. And it worked!

As for The Avengers, I see it doing very well for a few reasons. But the only reason I need is what a lot of other comic book fans needed...Joss Whedon! Dude is talented as fuck, he's creative, and he's already got a good track record. Not to mention he wrote Astonishing X-Men years ago and made that comic hot again. He created and directed Serenity and the Firefly television series as well as Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel. The trailers themselves, if you freeze frame them in spots, look like panels from comic books if you were to use photoshop to make them look like drawings. What we're going to get on May 4, 2012 is the realization of a comic book geek's dreams...a live-action comic book on the big screen that finally does justice to the team-based heroes.

I Can't Wait!

i C/S it all... this shit is like trying to compare training day to the matrix... :smh:

If that's how you feel, cool. I strongly disagree. Some were better than others but none of the real Marvel films (Marvel Studios) have been bad movies.
Now if they could get Daredevil, Ghost Rider, X-Men, and FF back in-house, they could do all kinds of crazy fanboy shit.

I probably make time to go see it during the week, when there is less people, I love a afternoon work week movie. I have a feeling the first weekend is gonna attract the loud kids screaming in excitement in the theater, I'll go during the week while they are in school.

Yeah. I already plan to see it with my wife and with my boys but I'm not going after the 4pm showing on the weekend.

They look like the army of the dead from Hela's realm. (the aliens, that is).

That would have worked too. I keep thinking that giant snake/dragon thing is the Midgard Serpent. They can easily mix in the "Skrulls" and the Asgardian based villains for Loki's army.
