The Art of Organized Noize - Documentary Airing on Netflix

An entire 2 generations of music disagree with you.
Morpheus is just mad that his application to join Organized Noize was denied...fuck outta here..
These dudes are the most humble...most prolific production crew for the last 20 something years!

I will be copping two of the joints when it drops..these niggas deserve it!

they're the only people i could say i was influenced by. i try to not be influenced but they influenced me in the sense of making good music wins and don't be afraid to develop your sound fuck everybody else.

I still listen to the You May Die Intro once a week. I made a full 4 minute mix of that shit just intro the verse hook and then going back over and over again. some of the most beautiful shit i ever heard.
"Some go low to get high. You may hurt till you cry. You may die(You may die) Keep on trying (Keep on trying) Till it's summer, in the city"

Bro that shit use to start my day and end my nights fam!!!!

Best Intro to an album of all time...it set the tone and atmosphere.....THEN THEY BUST YOUR ASS WITH THE 2 DOPE BOYZ
:dance::dance::dance::dance:

He's not right.
It's opinion based and in my opinion they controlled all music for a long time and birthed styles that evolved from them today all across pop and they did it across multiple platforms and different artists and never sounded the same or stale over a a good 20 year span.

No disrespect to anybody on the list but half the people listening didn't even realize it was organized noise who made your favorite song until you checked the credits. That's their true mark.

imo.

true its opinion - but you are still out of yo mind to say top 3 across all genres when 3 of the producers on my list still define the genres that Organized Noise lives in. And the rest on my list exceed the criteria you listed in defense of your opinion

Nobody birthed organize noise that's the point. They birthed themselves. They don't borrow from anyone on the list you mentioned which is why they belong on the list. They are their own entity and proved that over the extremely FICKLE state of pop and especially rap they not only could flourish on the underground they could craft mega hits that transcend everything. They fit the criteria. You gotta read up on them

they had a distinct sound while every production sounded unique and original

and especially in a competitive market driven genre like hip hop ESPECIALLY at that time and coming from the SOUTH?

F*cking incredible.

To prove their mettle go back and listen to the Witchdoctor and Cool Breeze projects.

these are considered weaker additions to their catalogs and are damn CLASSIC records with records you could release NOW...

I feel you. They're past great though that's what I'm trying to get across. They were successful underground and commercially equally and did it all from the dungeon staying true to themselves.
How do you produce and craft and make 2 of the top 10 rap groups of all time with 2 unique distinct different sounds and make them work? How do you have andre 3000 come in and say i like this and they say ok let's do this and it goes diamond. The speakerboxx love below album is a testament to their versatility and it went diamond.
