That shit NY chicks can't resist

yoo..i been in atlanta for 5 years and that shit still works..fresh tims..pressed jeans..white tee and a crisp n.y hat on a summer day..i'am getting 5-10 numbers hitting the malls.!!! lol

That east coast shit.
Was in philly last weekend for birthday. Before going to onyx had to go to mitchell & Ness to cop a hat.

Old habits are hard to break.
And when it's time to hit the block party, polo with the matching hat, jeans, and tims.

I never liked the summer outfit routine. But come fall/winter time: with oversized sweats and some fresh sneaks, I didn't mind pretending to be Philadelphian.

Are you Puerto Rican? Who the hell wears Air Force 1s? I had one pair of those shoes. Besides converses, I don't they may be the most uncomfortable shoes ever.
i like'em..... 1 of my favorite pair of nikes ever.... i get'em in diff colors. I give zero fuks about what other ppl like or think should or shouldnt be worn. Im lost on what being Puerto Rican has to do with liking a pair of sneakers:dunno:. Im not Puerto Rican. Do we have Puerto Rican's on my block & around the corner? absolutely! Most of the ppl on my block speak spanish, myself included.

I always, own a pair of constructs (they way over priced now) and the field joints, my beef and broccoli's just died in april.

Always got a Blue too.

She killed me with the Facts, which I actually hate lol

Definitely. I rock that shit here in DC and it works so well. These broads don't know how to act when they see a fresh pair of butters.

Can't go wrong with a pair of Field Timbs. They're comfortable as hell

you were in this shitty city and didn't get shot? Wow you blessed

Timbs are a necessary items in the Tri-State area... To quote the Starks... Winter is coming.
Timbs ended up becoming the snow shoveling boot of choice during the winter as I got older. I ended up rocking Vasque & Asolo boots for fashion. Timbs just lost their appeal to me especially when they started making all types of horrible looking variants.

Is it me, or do yall think it's rude and uncouth to tie a pair of timbs? I see people wearing them and when I see them tied, I feel disgusted and upset. Ruins my entire day. I need therapy...

Man that shit grinds my gears. Just disrespectful to do that shit especially when a mufucka damn near chokes their ankles with how they're laced up. Only thing just as bad is when you see someone wear pants that don't have a wide enough cuff try to cover the top of the Timbs with them. That shit looks beyond horrible.

The only acceptable tied laces look. Anything tighter than this is disrespectful

Accurate. That's why a lot a chicks don't have shit! Women pursuing men more for looks than character or ability to provide is more of a masculine mentality. (2 cents) /Rant.

what has the timberland company done after black folks have given so much money to them?

you tie yours?!?!?!????!!!!
At most I'll have my laces looped like that similar to what I do with my kicks but I never tie them in that bowtie style we learned as kids growing up. The length of laces determines whether I leave them hanging or looped like in the pic. I hate having laces so loose that they can catch on something or dragging on the floor.

This is how mine always were. Just a knot on the ends so they didnt come out.

I rocked mine like that at times too but felt looping them like I did with my sneakers gave me a more secure fit. I didn't want my foot moving around in my boot feeling like I was wearing slippers.
