Arthur Blank the Falcons owner came out in major support of thr players right to protest and came out against Jerry Jones and Goodell. I heard the sound bite on radio. Essentially he said the Goodell memo is not representative of the spirit of the NFL and specifically said "I thought the servicemen of the last 200 years of this country fought for certain rights and privileges, one of them being free speech and the right to protest"...I am paraphrasing based on memory but that is the gist of what he said.
Yeah while I don't like what these players letting these owners get away with....they not coons....we have to remember these are young men. Young men who have had everything given to them since a child due to their talent on the field. They haven't had their wake up call yet. We all have it. There is no law that commands standing for the national anthem. If the NFL bows to pressure from Trump and fires players, they have every right to sue - and not just the NFL, but Trump too - who is violating the law by using his executive branch position of power to influence the hiring and firing decisions of a private enterprise.

Trump is praying every black NFL player takes a knee. And he’s praying that the NFLPA takes the legaue to court, hopefully for years, hopefully to the Supreme Court.
