Thailand...For Realz?

Two pieces of advice about living over there as a black man: one, don't be climbing shit for little kids, no matter how cute or how much they cry. And next, don't sleep in beds that look like toothbrushes.

All jokes aside, how many of you guys realize that the first Go-Go bar in Thailand was created by the Soi Cowboy, an African American guy that the street is named after.

Thanks for this info because when I retire I'm seriously considering living outside of the US.

This guy provides the most accurate information about visiting or living in Thailand. I don’t pay much attention to other influencers, especially the younger ones, who don't know what the fuck they're talking about.

I’ve come across numerous videos like these, but I wanted to bring to your attention that many of these individuals are not complying with Thailand’s regulations. It seems that most of them are on a 60-day visa and are leaving the country for a day before returning. However, Thailand is taking significant steps to address this issue. To obtain a residential visa, you must have approximately “$500,000 Thai Baht” $16,000 US in a bank account and can apply for a five-year visa. Unfortunately, most of these individuals lack the necessary resources and documentation. In fact, it’s not even allowed to rent an apartment on a 60-day visa. Rumor has it that Thailand is reverting back to a 30-day visa, which they changed shortly after the pandemic to boost tourism. Additionally, the Thai baht is strengthening against the dollar, which is unfavorable news for individuals traveling from abroad.

Cal gives some of the best advice about visiting and living in Thailand.
