Most albums drop by 1/2 of their initial sales after being released weeks ago. Actual people bought those copies, sales will continue to decrease as more people own the album.

There is no link that shit was 11 years ago and yes it was in the Times and Post if I'm not mistaken. Shit I was at Def Jam when they said he bought 200,000 copies of Kingdom Come. That album was critically canned and the predictions of that album were FAR lower than the 680 first week it ended up with. Kingdom Come had the highest second week drop off (81%) of any #1 album in history. In fact ever since Vol 3. his 2nd week drop offs are always huge and his total sales never end up very far away from the debut.

Shady 50 would have really did like 1.4 in that first week, Interscope dropped the album on Friday instead of Tuesday because it had leaked the previous Wednesday. He did that 850 in basically 4 days.
Today that album would have probably done 2.5 first week or something ridiculous like that.
fam he outsold his first week in his 2nd week.

To make him look popular and as to the general public that is on the fence about buying his CD that it's the cool and popular thing to do.It worked last time with a bunch of people praising Carter III as their favorite rap CD of that year.Besides a higher sales number increasing his rate for shows and appearances.
The clubs are the streets, dudes music is banging in the clubs, there are no whites in the urban clubs, mainly no suburbanites. The clubs aren't playing Lady Gaga cause she's on top of sales and they aren't playing Eminem either. Clubs play what the demographic likes and all I'm saying is dude is running things on both those accords right now.

Your reasoning is extremely faulty considering that the Carter 3 is STILL on the top 200. The album was a smash. Albums with manufactured initial sales don't continue selling like that.
It was Scarlett that was on G-Unit at the time. Well not really she said she was on G Unit 50 ended up saying that she used them to be in the video and get some shine. She was in XXL.
