A ticked-off Texas mom pulled a pink stun gun out of her purse and used it to punish her 14-year-old son, whom she described as a “handful,” according to police.
Kimira Hysaw of Pflugerville was arrested after a teacher learned about last week’s discipline and police said they later observed two burn marks on the teen’s upper arm and one on his back, the Austin American-Statesman reported Wednesday.
An affidavit claims the 32-year-old mom had “tased” her son four times.

“I threaten him with it,” Hysaw told police, according to the affidavit. He “is a handful. … I don’t even know where my child is half the time.”

Kimira Hysaw, 32, of Texas, was arrested after allegedly punishing her son with a stun gun on his arms and back.
Hysaw declined to talk further about the alleged incident to police, Fox affiliate KTBC reported.
Hysaw, who is not in jail, is now facing an injury-to-a-child charge.

Police said the teen’s 4-year-old sister initially told her teacher about the punishment.
When they interviewed the girl, she used a pink crayon to draw what appeared to be a stun gun and said the device was kept in “mommy’s purse.”

Police later interviewed the teen, who was uncooperative and told them, “I don’t stay in her (his mother’s) business,” the affidavit said.
Hysaw lives at the family’s home with her husband and five children. The husband reportedly held down the teen while she allegedly shocked him.
The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services declined to discuss the case, but told KTBC that they typically remove children from the home while they investigate their safety.
