Somewhat of the same thread as posted <a href="http://www.bgol.us/board/showthread.php?p=3292126#post3292126">here</a> but with a slight twist.
Had I listened to some of the advice that I was given when I was younger I would probably be on a different path in life.
I'm appreciative of where I am right now but I know that you gotta listen to the older folks to avoid time wasted on trial and error.
Granted it's good to learn certain things on our own but we should be able to learn from mistakes of previous generations.
This thread is geared towards women that have been involved in different stages/ages of a mans life and have wisdom that they're willing to share because they've either seen growth or a lack of.
What are some of the pitfalls that you see young black men my age falling into and what do we need to do to better ourselves & families?
I'm not just talking sexually but in general terms.
Also the thread isn't just for women because I will probably get more serious responses over here than on the main board.
