Television Nostalgia

That's one that got by me. When I saw the intro I knew it was a late 60's early 70's program. It was syndicated to PBS and other education networks between 1972-1976 If it ever came on in my neck of the woods I would've been a few years past the ABCs and would've been watching the Electric Company.
It's from tue 7s but I was watch8ng it on educational tv when it was in syndicate during tue 80s

Actually it does work that way. Most Americans today are ignorant of their true history and how their government works. Now they have a President just as stupid as they are. Ultimately you get the government you deserve.

Well said!!

Superboy is an American television series based on the fictional DC Comicscomic bookcharacter Superman's early years as Superboy. The show ran from 1988–1992 in syndication. It was renamed The Adventures of Superboy at the start of the third season.

One of the best cartoons ever!

How this was never turned into a live action movie is beyond me..
Yep, they put it on DVD. This show was way ahead of it's time, an action drama cartoon.
They've also released the soundtracks... The jazz musicians for this show were not bullshittin', some of the best music ever.

Here's the documentary (over two hours long):

Half hour into the doc and it's excellent!

Great drop, fam

How many of you old heads remember when Spider-Man was on "The Electric Company".

These little shorts are actually the first live TV appearances of Spider-man before the live action series that came out later in the 1970s.

When you were a little snot head kid watching him on this show, it was like watching a Marvel Series today on Disney+.

HaHa!!!

They tried to remake J Quest in the mid eighties and the early to mid nineties, and they were straight TRASH. Nothing was better than the original.

Here's why the original run was canceled.

Jonny Quest first aired from September 18, 1964, to March 11, 1965 in prime time on the ABC network and was an almost instant success, both critically and ratings-wise but it was canceled after one season due to the animated show's high production costs
