Tech Advice: Need recommendations on the BEST 32 inch flat screen

Stop being cheap and get them a 50 inch tcl or something. My 4 year old has a 50 inch Amazon fire tv in his room. It's a different story if there isn't any space in the room. But a 30 inch is borderline child abuse

Yeah, someone needs to report this to child protective services

And we all know bgol loves the kids.

And I really appreciate the laughs actually in the hospital now. The TV was a surprise and for her to watch her educational videos. She already missed a lot of days of school.

Just in case you didn’t know they don’t build tvs to last anymore..I thought this was a known fact.. big bizz purposely built faulty shit to make more money..the old days of making a product to last long is long gone.. they found out if they make quality stuff ull most likely rock with it till the wheels fall off and as a company that means they make less money.. now if you have to keep buying something new every few yrs they will make money like that..tv expectancies are like only 4-6 yrs now on purpose.. just like you heard phone companies purposely slowing down old phones so you can buy new 1s or upgrade..this is part of the new tech movement that’s been going on for at least 10yrs.. I’ve made rants about big bizz agenda on topics like this b4 , welcome to their world of fuckery.. reasons why I’m anti big bizz

All the best with your daughter's health.

Good recommendations from everyone in this thread.

Got a nice deal on a 43" Roku set at Best Buy about 4 - 5 years ago. That's a secondary set.

Primary set for years was a 40" Samsung (Best Buy). Kept it for 10+ years and gave it to a family member thereafter. Our current set's a 55" LG bought earlier this year at Costco.

i just got a glimpse of the tv in his kid's room.........mufucka mounted just right.....

Nothing is worse than having a tv too big for the room.
So if 32 inches if what you really need then get that.
Don't get too much bigger if it is size thing.

man dont listen to these dudes.
bedrooms are small in ny and a big ass tv in a small bedroom would kill those babies eyes
find a 32 inch; max 39
dont do anything above that

What is the recommended viewing distance for televisions?

The best viewing distance depends on the size of television screen, as well as the resolution of the television display. Refer to the following:

NOTE: Appropriate distance for comfortable viewing depends on the content, the viewing environment as well as the physical conditions of the viewer. We recommend viewing from a suitable distance while taking breaks at regular intervals.

For 4K models

Recommended distance for viewing 4K TV is 1.5 times of the TV vertical screen size. Viewed from this distance, individual pixels cannot be differentiated by naked eyes. This means that pixels effectively disappear when viewing 4K images. This creates the impression of watching TV pictures with the same detail and resolution as real life.

For High Definition models

Recommended distance for viewing High Definition TV is 3 times of the TV vertical screen size.
