The NFL needed that cat to go to one of these struggling teams like the Jag's. They didn't need him going to go and sit on the bench in NY. Would've helped the Jags out a lot.
Sanchez ain't got nothing to worry about. They gave him a nice extension so Tebow is just there for wildcatting. But if Tebow-mania hits them fans Rex is gonna feel the pressure and have to replace his beloved Sanchez on the bench for Tebow now. Not really a good move either way I think about it.
