Could also be more of a “career” thing too. I would think she has a good idea of how people “see” her AND that her looks being more attention to her than her professional skills.
Think of it like, her being a successful reporter gives her access to capitalize and expand her outreach based on her looks.
Yes of course without a doubt her looks has played a role in her getting jobs and her employer knows her looks brings in more ratings which benefits them.
And if she thinks otherwise she's an idiot
