Boyce isn't a one man band. Dude have people to pay. Qualified people, who I'm sure want more than minimum wage. You're a businessman, so I'm sure you're aware that overhead is included in price of anything.
Also, Boyce said he is not taking money from white corporations, because they're going to want to control what you can and cannot say. This means, in order for him to be able to remain sovereign, he will have to charge more to cover all expenses.
Parents have the right to refuse to pay his costs.
Like any business, if he prices himself out, he'll have to make a price adjustment.

Clearly there are plenty of examples of people using their degree to fleece people. (Lawyers, politicians etc...)
However, having a degree does say that you have the academic credentials to stand on when discussing your particular field of expertise....
