Tariq Nasheed vs. Tucker Carlson 11/29

I've stated this plenty of times before, but I fucks with Tariq! I know that he's a hustla (like most of us), but I support his products anyways. Why? Because unlike a lot of the people who hustle off race, Tariq actually states a lot of facts when it pertains to racism, history, the status quo of being Black in America and what we need to do to get our shit together. But the fact of the matter is he got called out on one of his "hustle tweets".

I follow Tariq's Twitter page, so I see his timeline a lot. He tweets a lot of facts, but from time to time he tweets stuff that's meant to keep his followers on edge. The reason he does that is because, SADLY, a lot of Black folks tend to lose interest in the adversities that Black people face once theyre no longer trending on Twitter. These are usually the Black folks who are no longer in the hood and feel like theyre exempt. When Black folks lose interest in race, that hurts Tariq current hustle. Those hustle tweets may also be meant to remind Black folks that the fight is NEVER OVER. But he needs to be careful about what he types.

Tucker & FoxNews couldve addressed any one of Tariq's many tweets about the relationship between Black people and the police, but they chose to keep digging in on that one tweet because that was a easy one to shoot down. The insults & interruptions from Tucker, along with the fact that he kept going in on that one hustle tweet knocked Tariq off his square. Why do I feel like Tariq got knocked off his square? Because of his body language. If you look at the video and pay attention to that NON VERBAL COMMUNICATION, you can easily see that Tariq was uncomfortable a few times. Im sure Tucker saw it as well.

Fox News is notorious for conducting these type of bs interviews. I hope Tariq studies that video so next time he's better prepared.

Yep his body language was way off. He prolly did the best he could under the circumstances but to get on twitter and calling it destroying his opponent is overkill, then again, yt does it all the time so it's fair play I guess.

Tariq shouldn't have done Fox News. There is no "win" on Fox News. All they wanted to do was show someone black with a Muslim sounding name "attacking " a white "hero" for killing a "terrorist".

For them no matter what it's win for their audience. He should subjugated his desire to appear on TV, and seen ANY appearance by blacks on Fox News for what it is: manipulation. No matter what he did or said they got a "win" for their audience.

Not a win for Fox News at all. Did you even watch it?

I have to agree. Tariq didn't come out of this well. Rather incoherently and just shouting buzz words. It's a shame really.

Are all you dudes mentally retarded?? Fox News wanted Tariq to be some crazy radical Muslim dude and he was exactly the opposite. He used their own tactics to make them look like fools. Tucker's face says it all.

I don't dislike Tariq. But in many aspects, he is extremely rough around the edges. What was his purpose for being on Fox News, again - to expose Tucker Carlson and Fox as racists? That's like going to a Ku Klux Klan rally with the agenda of exposing the Grand Dragon as racist to the Klan members in attendance.

They are not journalists at Fox. They're hacks and racist scum. Tariq was severely and remorselessly disrespected from Tucker Carlson's opening comment. WTF. Why was he THERE? Where is his self-esteem?
  1. Fox controls the narrative. They can and will interrupt and openly insult. They can cut him off at any time. They can go to commercial break on him. They can ruthlessly edit the segment. Then when they're through and his interview is over, they can destroy him on Fox by making him and his whole profile a "problem" that needs to be dealt with - and create all kinds of segments and panel discussions on other shows where they savage him and label him as a racist. This is what they did with Bill O'Reilly's rant equating murder with "black culture" (then Don Lemon on CNN picked up on it and co-signed). They can do all that and never let him back on the channel to defend himself.
  2. Tariq won over and "convinced" 0% of Fox's core audience.
  3. He completely missed the ball twice on the issue of America importing non-whites for financial gain by not immediately mentioning chattel slavery.
  4. Because of Tucker Carlson's constant insults and interruptions, Tariq's comments were reduced to blurted out soundbytes and half statements.
At least when Roland Martin debates racists, it's on his own show - on a Black network where Roland holds the power of control of the narrative, framing, editing, going to commercial breaks or even ending debates/interviews and kicking idiots off the show if necessary. Also (not directed at this debate), in Roland's debates he tends to be prepared with names, dates and places. People who constantly mention "receipts" do so because they have had a history of communicating via unsupported statements and unsubstantiated opinion - without receipts.

Those who have carried receipts from day one don't have a need to trumpet their ownership of them to the world.

All this shit you just typed sounds like jealousy. Why don't you just come out and say it.

no way in hell Tariq lost that debate, he may have been on the defense

more than offense because of fox news juvenile journalism style....

they are custom made for the southern red neck...

but he remained in composure no getting fustrated stumbling over words

and he just swatted away all of tuckers talking points...

but how can anyone even take tucker seriously... he looks like a clown that keeps forgetting his make up... tryin hard to look suave in a bow tie..

he fails miserably....

Tariq is getting his brand out there, his numbers go way up when die hard racist call his show and he gets to debate them in his own setting..

and what better way to fish in those brain dead racist then exposure on fox news... I bet a couple of them are checking out his web pages now..

Look in the mirror. You're one of the dumbest "dudes" in here.
You low self-esteem faggot. Clearly, you feel butt hurt that you can't express even one coherent thought that makes sense. If all you came out of my post with was "jealous", you've got to be the stupidest motherfucker on this board. Illiterate shithead.

That's the thing, "in his own setting". You're right. When Tariq has racists on his show, he owns them. But in this "interview" he really didn't own anybody. Carlson killed him with his opening intro. It was a clear statement that the ONLY reason he had Tariq there was to shit on him to his face. There's no win to be had on Tariq's part in that venue. Tariq took an assignment that was beneath him - or should have been.

Tariq has something to say. He should be able to say it in places where he would be spoken to respectfully and where his words would actually be considered.

I didnt see that at all, I saw a pasty little boy that liked to hear the sound of his own voice, by asking questions, then talking over the guest so you couldnt hear half of what his response was...

I also saw Tariq keeping his composure and smiling letting them know this what he expected, and also not taking the bait and stayin on cue,

He pretty much said boy tucker and fox were racist frauds...

without all the emotion and anger tucker boy was trying to muster up...

He carried himself with class and exposed tucker for being the sad little wanna be journalist he yearns to be...

and Tariq also got exposure, fox news as pathetic as they are, gets big numbers...

Im sure that will translate into a couple of youtube hits for Tariq...

Emotional much? Who's the "faggot":lol:Yeah sure you're not jealous at all.

Not too bright either. You don't know the definition of low self-esteem :lol::lol:

No matter how fucked up or white people are they support each other. Here we have a brother exposing a news channels about the lies they tell and suspect black people in here criticizing him.Niggas talking about he lost and they won't go on fox news.In no way did he lose.At least the brother is trying to wake black people. What are you doing

Troll, you don't mean enough to generate emotion from me. If you had any reading comprehension skills, or analytical ability your retarded ass wouldn't have even approached me with that dumb shit you said in the first place. Faggot.

If it was a cac on there instead of Tariq defending black people, niggas would be giving him high praise and no criticism :smh:

Family, your first paragraph says it all. The cac was "talking over the guest so you couldn't hear half of what his response was."

So then if Tariq was being talked over to the extent that one couldn't hear a good deal of what he was saying, how was that a win? We already know Fox News is racist. Fox's viewers know as well and don't give a shit.

The premise of why Tariq was invited in the first place was a weak one. Fox is a shithole. He's better than that. Way I see it, some things aren't worth a few YouTube hits.

Tariq could do a lot more damage against Fox News by exposing them on his own show point by point, with video clips showing their lunacy - unhindered by the interruptions of fools... the way Young Turks do, for example.

No matter how fucked up or white people are they support each other. Here we have a brother exposing a news channels about the lies they tell and suspect black people in here criticizing him.Niggas talking about he lost and they won't go on fox news.In no way did he lose.At least the brother is trying to wake black people. "Wake black people"... Black folks don't know Fox is racist? He didn't expose anything. Exposure is revealing something that was previously hidden. Fox's racism has never been hidden.

Tariq has positively participated in helping awaken Black folks to our greatness via his Hidden Colors series. I respect him for doing that. I like to hear him quote facts about our history which he gleaned from the Greats who participated in those documentaries. I never like to see us go places where we are disrespected and can't be given the simple dignity of a chance to be heard without being attacked.

Now, what are YOU doing to wake Black people up?

"Troll, you don't mean enough to generate emotion from me."

"If you had any reading comprehension skills, or analytical ability your retarded ass wouldn't have even approached me with that dumb shit you said in the first place. Faggot."

:lol::lol::lol:
Hey, what can I say, troll. It makes me smile to insult you.

On the other hand, it's like poking a wounded frog with a stick.

I was thinking the same damn thing.

I can see your perspective sun, but I think you are overlooking the fact that Tariq chose the classy route, you and I both know bruh Tariq could get just as loud and obnoxious as the best of them but he chose to sit back and let

that clown in a bow tie expose himself...

I guess its really all a perspective you dont go on fox news expecting a debate, you go on fox news to get your name out in front on their massive audience...

at the end of the day Tariq is a business man.. and he knows exactly what he is doing by going on fox news.. and in this capitalist society I dont blame him..

He is always on his hustle.. and I agree with the way he carried himself, anyone familiar with panel discussions could plainly see, the host was as unprofessional and juvenile as they come..

but thats what his audience wants... I think overall Tariq won because not only was he able to get his name out there to a wider audience he did so without losing his integrity..

where as this clown in a bowtie is selling out all his integrity and he better hope fox dont get rid of him like they did glenn beck..

because beck is tryin hard to get some of that integrity back but its waaaay too late he sold it all...

carson is headed down that same path...

I respect yo opinion tho, we can agree to disagree...

I agree with you that his motivation to be on Fox was likely an opportunity for self-promotion. But if that is the case, then it wasn't for US in any way. No?

If his goal is to expand his audience - doesn't that then mean that he wants those racist crackas to be included in it? After all, that's basically who Fox's demographic is.

Yes, absolutely Tucker Carlson is a tool. IMO virtually none of the hosts on Fox News have an iota of integrity. As you said, Tucker Carlson was as unprofessional and juvenile as they come. Therefore again, I question, "Who is this wider audience?" I would further ask, "At what cost"?
In the past on BGOL, I've pointed out a number of areas where I disagree with Tariq Nasheed. I've also said something that Dr. Boyce recently said, which is (paraphrased), "There is no person who is going to 100% share your views and methods." "We have to pick and choose those parts of what they say that we find valuable and hold onto those things. Discard the rest."

"Discarding the rest" doesn't mean discarding the person, though. Tariq is still my Brother. Though I disagree with some of his words and actions, there are more things he says and does that I do agree with and support him on. He doesn't have to be 100% in line with my own thinking to be Fam.

My wish is that we who have a platform and have a voice - use that platform in ways that actually benefit Black people as a whole. I hate to see a valuable asset such as Tariq be disrespected openly in a forum and format where he is insulted and lied on, will never be given a fair shot and will not be given the chance to really drop science. He has good things to say, he should be heard and he should be shown value coming in the door.

To the extent that our people with something to say, have to be on mass media at all, I would prefer it be in a framework where our thoughts, experiences, viewpoints and humanity are respected.

Brother, I don't particularly disagree with much of what you're saying. I just see it as a chance to mash it up with fam about a topic - hear a viewpoint outside of my own as well as share my own.

respect,

I dont think its all about his promotion, we need our perspective to counter act those red neck talkin points.

and its good to see some of us standing up for us, with all the coonery they constantly shove down our throats.. while I know its just Tariqs hustle,

Im glad its not a toxic hustle that does more damage than good..

while a lot of what he says is common knowledge to most of us, there are many of us who never hear this perspective..

and only the fox red neck narrative.

exactly despite what many other races believe we are so far from a monolithic people..

but we have to focus on common ground and built from there...

I disagree with some of Tariqs actions but it doesnt bother me, because I understand its all eductainment...

if you want pure education you have to do your own homework....

Peace,

In this instance, I don't feel like he countered the red neck talking points effectively. He did get a few shots in but I've seen better. I've seen Tariq do better. The environment and the host was absolutely hostile and unprofessional though, so I don't completely blame Tariq.

To me, Tariq's podcasts are the perfect place to hear him drop knowledge. Way better than that stinking portapotty Fox News.

I return the same respect you replied to me with, Family. Most of what you said above I agree with. Especially the bolded section.

This cac asked,

"Why would a white supremacist country import Africans in larger numbers and then pay for them to live here?" - Tucker Carson

3:48 mark
And he could've brought up the CO Springs shootings or the fact that 8 white cops were shot by white killers this month.

In those incidents, "hero" was never part of the narrative.

Not a win for Fox News at all. Did you even watch it?
Yep. Absolutely a win for them. Not with you or any of Tariq's audiences. Fox gives zero fucks about you and them. Their goal was this: show black man with Muslim name attacking white hero - put BLACK LIVES MATTER under his face. Drop Mic.

After they did that they won WITH THEIR AUDIENCE. Do you think they cared about anything else??! He played into their hands. He believes his own hype about how wise and adept he is (some of you too I guess). Fox News isn't about truth or debate. It's about PROPAGANDA. They just used him for their propaganda EXACTLY as they wanted. He didn't stop them. He played their stooge in this. When they called he should have said : "you are not a news organization; I only appear on legitimate news." Then hung up.

But he couldn't resist the urge to appear on TV and he actually believes his own hype as a "great debater". He wasn't smart enough to get fox's hustle: they aren't about debate - this was a visual propaganda "angry Blackman with BLACK LIVES MATTER under his name". They played him so well they will probably ask him back! They couldn't have hired an actor to do better.

He, however, will never admit he got played because in his mind he is "the king of game". He will do a podcast announcing how he "destroyed a suspected white supremacist ". Blah blah blah...

Nope. He got used by master propagandists. Done. Next time just say no.
