Target CEO's stepping down amid retailer's struggles

Mutha fucka saw those financial projections and was like
oh-hell.gif

He things would was going to get fired because he was an effective ceo in an economic downturn. His head on the pike isn't a bad thing.
I got a couple spare pikes my backyard. Say the word and I'll ship one to Minnesota.

Seriously though. Target built a reputation on equity and inclusivity. By caving into Trump's anti DEI demands he betrayed the customers triggering nationwide boycott. If he had stood his ground the way Costco and trader Joe's did the impact would have been less.

And people said the boycott wouldn't do shit!
There is a growing sentiment that I've been noticing online (and maybe I'm just paying attention to it) about the myth of black buying power. That's the title of the book from Dr. Jared Bell. I haven't read his book or looked at his research yet, but I'm interested in the argument thats being had here.

Couldn't have happened to a better cock sucker.....

Money matter folks..... they don't like your skin all that protesting won't matter until you hit their bottom line

I don't shop there only for coke when it's on super sale but that's it.

Some would rather shop there cause they believe it's better than walmart but believe what you want but it's clear as day Target is on its way out.Peace

They let Trump bully them into destroying their own company. Also, that Target on Camp Creek in ATL is still packed to the gills every single day. I ride past there a couple times a week and maybe the folks on camp creek don't know about the boycott.
That's them Atlanta nuggas for you. Target used to have the bitches thougj

No, Target sold black crayons for $35. Shame on any black families that bought that overpriced nonsense.

Do you remember the esteemed members of the community who were at the Battle Royale in Invisible Man?

Funny thing is I was just watching a clip from Joe budden podcast I think yesterday and I forgot what in particular they were talking about, but at the end of the segment he mentioned how he walked into target recently and how empty it was and asked the rest have they walked into target recently lately, he thanked started to laugh and said we won I think black people won and started cracking up, than they checked the stock and I think it dropped by 56 points or something since the boycott begin.. it’s funny how today I read this headline on here on how dude stepping down.. it’s funny how you see a segment on something nd bam you see the after effects

I think the boycott ended, but a lot of the participants found better alternatives and they're not coming back.

That's the real danger for a company.
